Knowing that I had being following TM very closely for many years. ( I work for TM for 9 Years)
many friends had ask me on how to trade TM?
TM had significantly changed after the split of AXIATA end of April 2008.
I noticed that TM share price are more cyclic now.

End of Nov or early Dec is usually the low and will move up picking on the first week of May .

So I had recommended my friend to buy end Nov and sell End Apr or at 15% profit

For those who love TM like me we can start collecting now.
Best Regards

Ps: Mr Moderator: I could't find the TM old topic, so I started a new one

That is very good.
you might had bought it 18 months ago or much earlier.
TM lately had paid good dividend so keeping it, is not a problem.
During the 18 months it had hit 3.50 twice and you decided to keep it.

What i am saying here is that now the price is 3.30 and by May 2011, I expect it to increase by 15% or to 3.80.
At that time I will also sell off my share before the drop in May. If you still want to keep it it will be a different strategy,

i say the price will probably further go up to RM 4 or more . TM has abundance of cash (check their bursa announcement), probably they want to consider giving a special d. otherwise, their stock will not be attractive enough as compare to other counter. further our economy is improving...

TM at 2-yr high on 'dividend surprise'

Telekom Malaysia Bhd rose the most in almost two years after AmResearch Sdn Bhd said the company may announce a “dividend surprise” and investors should buy the stock as it has lagged behind its peers.

The stock gained 4.8 per cent to close at RM3.73, set for its steepest gain since February 25, 2009.

Its fair value was raised to RM4 from RM3.90, AmResearch said in a report today. -- Bloomberg

TM had posted the notice at bursa website.
Don't worry, TM or any other big service company will have tons of this type of summons.
some are valid and most are don't but It will not give any material impact to the companies.
They will have big problem if the summons come from the Federal Government.

I think they will not have problem with the HSBB, now that they had sorted out most of the technical problems this project was planned many year ago and the funding was already available years ago.
I think they will still pay the RM7xx millions dividend as usual this year.
They had sold AXIATA from the ESOS account making RM4XX Mil ?? last year. ( money fallen from the sky)

HSBB will cannibalize some of their good revenue stream. but in the long term it will provide a very strong barrier to any new entry and open up a lot of green fields.
That is just my view

ok make sense.

if their TV package gets better, we shud dump our Asotoro, and subscribe Unifi, or request TM to add more channels to make it more attractive to the paying public.
