My sister gonna get me a xbox360 from uk and send it to me but as i know uk xbox is running PAL system,
if i bought the game in ntsc-j format is that work on it?
If i ply xbox live can i connect to asia server? or i only can connect to eu server?

Depends on Xboxlive server, Xboxlive is random server ..

ntscj games will not work on pal console and vice versa... if it is region free, then can.

yeah... cuz msian x360 sellers mainly carry nstcj games... and create an SG live acc, so that u can use MS points that are sold in garage sales... otherwise u need to buy ur stuff online

since u are in UK ask your sis get you a Jtag Version then u wont need to worry about region anymore but ofcourse no more online lo =X

Jtag console cant buy at playasia.... Its a hacked console for older version. Once hack you can play game without DVD just from HDD. UK should have alot compare in malaysia.

Well I suggest you get it in malaysia there because I'm in UK now and yes i got my xbox here, I think my settings all in UK and yes my games all in PAL version so it's better not to take the risk of it.

i'm in nz at the moment... it's PAL over here. i brought along my asian 360 and most of the times i can't buy games over here unless it's confirmed region free game then i'll buy it. every time i asked the same question at ebgames the sales person will argued with me and showed me PAL logo on the game saying PAL games only for PAL console. they never heard of region free games!

my advise if you are living in msia for the next 5 years... get the console from malaysia

I'm using my xbox bought from uk, and using live gold account from uk. still alive and kicking + i can subscribe to sky channel + some other offers. My concern is game like PES, forza and some others. normally i ask my fren or relative from uk or aus/nz to buy from there. i think for now, i'm quite happy using the pal console but of course it's easier to get this region console. I checked most of kinect games can be played on pal console, especially NTSC US / asia. hope they will do more in future for other titles.
