want to ask all the otai2 here. i have a42jv, i want to format my lappy, and return it to factory setting questions 1) how do i get to recovery mode? cant find it on the google or the manual 2) do the data on my d: partition get wipe clean as well when using the recovery mode?

did u do backup on cd or in hard disc ???
sry, late reply, internet in sarawak is very crappy...
never backup any of the data before, but i still remember when my first time having problem with the 64byte os (wrong install software), ive sent it to the shop to format it, but the shop keeper just do the recovery thingie. he said that the installation files are already in the hd. so... how do i get to the recovery mode, and is my D: partition get erased as well?
