I am choosing Asus laptop. The one i am seeing now is X42Jr but i found that many users say it is not good. I will play games sometime. And now i am a student, so i also need it for me to do some researches and other stuffs. I dont know is this laptop suitable for me or not. My budget is around RM2500. Is there any other Asus laptop to be recommended? Thanks in advance.

N53SV or N53SN are good.. the one with i5 cost about RM2799.. another model is N43 which cost RM2499 with i5 1st gen, 425 gt Nvidia. (if i am not mistaken) all of them have the same design

n53sv is worth for its price for the better look and design, expensive feeling aluminum (its cooling when in aircon room and not gaming heavily at the palm rest)
or you could go for a52ja for cheaper but less attractive and features

Thanks for replying smile.gif Actually i like N53SV very much too. But my two friends just bought it, so now i am worrying about it. sad.gif

worried of? all using same lappy or they had bad experience? how urgent u nid your new laptop? the longer u wait, the better it is for more choices and maybe cheaper price. i bought my asus n53sn rrp at rm3499 (i bought mine at rm3330 without freebies from hikari) now i heard only 3299 or 3399 forgot(if without freebies maybe around 31XX or 32XX  shocking.gif ), few weeks only...

the difference between carbon and pro is only the front lid cover either higher protection with pro or unique look with carbon. the wrist area is the same between pro and carbon meaning even if you take carbon package, wrist area is pro not carbon.

I see i see. So which one will you recommend me? Carbon? biggrin.gif
