QUOTE(AlexLai @ Mar 6 2011, 04:26 PM) I only experienced a blank screen when trying to start COD4, 5 and 6 using the 258.xx drivers. After updating to 260.xx, no such problems there. Most of the problems that you might face stem from the lack of automatic switching by Optimus. any definite solution to this optimus problem?

QUOTE(kelvinclyap88 @ Mar 11 2011, 09:57 AM) does this mean that ASUS able to arrange for pick-up at any place? or only for your special case may i know your state/town? i from klang, is there any possible for asus to make pickup if got any problem on laptop? cause might be buying asus as well but bcoz no much 14" model in market now and also heard many complain on asus warranty services I think if your laptop is still under warranty, they'll come to your place to pick up the laptop for service... at least this is what they said in their product guide

QUOTE(jungle_boy @ Mar 13 2011, 08:20 PM) not like that... if the item straight to my lil brother, so, i cannot test it...coz my brother is army... maybe 2-3 years will back to peninsular, according to his time table...that that time, the lattop not like lattop anymore...so, better i test it while virgin, then send it to my lil brother... ... i already ask seller here at lyn.net to pos it to sarawak, then, change my mind to test it 1st..so. i drive from muar to lowyat plaza, purchase there, then go back to muar... now got 2 days before i sending it to sarawak... give us a favor and post your detailed review on the new lappy. Btw most reviews I found online says something like the awkward keys placing in the keyboard.. care to give us your comment?

QUOTE(eugenechiuu @ Apr 11 2011, 07:23 PM) They can have same specs cause N series and A series are 2 different lines... N series have better build, speakers etc... Not available in Malaysia.. N43SL is would be an i5 how confident are you with your statement ? i think it's absurd if asus don't sell an i7 based n43sl in malaysia.. given that they already have sold a43sv and n53sn with i7... furthermore what's the point of sticking only i5 in n43sl..? because 2nd gen i7 cpus are already everywhere here... to sell an i7 n43sl would only involve putting in the cpu into the laptop body

hmm.. u41sv caught my attention.. my concern is will the build quality be the same as u41jf? if yes, then I'll give it a pass.. if not, i'll have some headache choosing n43sl or u41sv...
another thing is why don't asus put in more powerful proc in u41 series? it seems they always put in a "2nd most powerful proc available"... why not just put the "1st" aka i7?
