yes...at hardwarezone its not updated yet...go to http://www.compu-zone.com at the right side have the latest notebook price list dated 25 nov...they selling it at RM2999

new model?...a42jY, a42jZ...saw them listed when i want to download driver at asus website.. i also saw the k42jP and k42jY but no k42jZ..look like the P and Y got new graphic from amd 6000 series..wonder how powerful they are.. flex.gif

looks like the a42jP got better GC than a42jY maybe...considering the naming..6470 ~~5470..huhu..by the way..the 6570 got 2g vram..same as 5730 on a42jA blink.gif

well i've notice that the upcoming a42JY & a42JZ both coming with 2 battery option 8 cells: 4400 mAh 63 Whrs &
6 cells: 4400 mAh 47 Whrs .The design of both much the same of the current a42...maybe the 8 cell battery will fit with yours.... smile.gif

have anyone try undervolting? is it safe?...i read a few webs it says that undervolting can lower the temp of the laptop as well as increasing battery life? hmm.gif

u mean want to disable the touch pad when u r using the mouse right?

go to control panel click on the mouse and on the ELAN tab tick "disable when external usb mouse plug in"

thermal paste is some kind of paste that basically apply on cpu and gpu..it is use to increase thermal conductivity between cpu and heatsink or heatpipe...with good thermal paste we can reduce the cpu and gpu temp a little like eugenechiuu and Astria did smile.gif

ive also got some problem with the forceware prior to 266 release...my fifa 11 stuttering and really pissed me off.. better stick to 260.99 or older even though some problem like 4x anti aliasing blank screen in COD MW and some other game fixed in 266.xx
