Anyway my asus a42f device properties is now like this:

Still have a few nicks & picks question regarding this laptop..
1. Card reader u say? Doesn't the windows own driver settle it? Any links for card reader driver that i can use?
2. I install the Intel Management driver, it clear up a few things like u said eg: PCI Simple Communications Controller..
3. I don't know what touchpad it is bcoz when i got the laptop its os was beyond repair & i had to format it, let just say it's full of viruses

4. Do u have any other idea regarding the one last base system device from the SS?
5. IIANM for standard formatted from factory Asus laptop there is a special program that when u use things like brightness control & volume got some animation showing it, what program is that? Any links for it?

http://www.pcidatabase.com/example you will see PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0641&SUBSYS_82961043&REV_A1 on first row,10DE you input on Vendor Search,then 0641 on Device Search.finally you will know what is the driver for unknown device
I have already install the ATKACPI but it doesn't solve the base system driver problem
