hi. any one using u41f facing the auto shut down problem? it will automatically switch off without any reason. when u restart sometimes will shut off again. this is very annoy since i rushing my assignment and perhaps only after CNY then send for warranty. may i know what is the real reason actually?

Dear sir/madam,
Refer to the above matter, i brought the laptop U41 at 30th Dec 2010 at Prestige IT Distribution Sdn. Bhd. I brought this laptop purposely to cope with my further study in architecture field.
After 3 days the laptop start have this auto shutdown problem. First of all i suspect it is maybe due to overheat or accidentally pressed, but it is timely occurs when i doing my assignment. It is extremely annoying when i was rushing and sometimes the files was unsave. i lost a lot of valueable time to search the problem and eventually i think it should be hardware problem. but i desperately need a portable laptop for my study and also part time works.
i decided to wait until finish my 1st assignment after CNY then send for repair. unfortunately it is dead just two days before CNY. i immediately sent it to Asus service center at Saturday. I realise that it was closed at weekend!
i have no choice then send back to the purchase shop later. they are promise that normally in CNY it will take one week break, so it could be ready in two weeks time. They will response me if got any latest update.
After two weeks time no phone called. i have to take my own action to contact them. a guy called Eddy keep on repeat that the spare parts are haven't arrived yet. after couple of days, i received called from Carmen, the supervisor of the shop, said that the Asus factory in Taiwan having a shipping problem to Malaysia. Every models are stuck in there!
she requested me to bring back the original box of the laptop. (i wonder why, perhaps this will be a process to exchange a new one). i took back the box from my hometown which is 3hours driving per way and sent to their office. it is very tired but yet i got the answer still need to wait until Monday. She will give me the reason and the worst case she would like to exchange another model for me due to the unknown time for the repair works.
i have trust them and looking for their response at monday. but so upset and dissapointed they didnt have any called. yet i call myself again at afternoon, Carmen was not in that time. the following day, which is today, she on leave, i spoke with her assistant, they are waiting the response from Asus site.
since day 1 29/1/2011 until now i still didnt know how long for the laptop repair works will take. im trusted with Asus realibility but this time i was very faded up with this. My time is wasted for this problem and i had gain nothing. I have no choice to borrow my coursemate computer, which is very unconvenient for me.
it would be most grateful to receive your response for the above. thanks.
