hi all im maybe new here,,
i have problem with my asus a42jc
basically this laptop is powered by nvidia geforce 310m and intel i3 hd graphic installed in it.

the problem started when i tried to upgrade the geforce driver from the official website,,after installed the latest and the not so latest driver(i have tried lots of it but still not all because tired with the same problem encountered),,the laptop will stuck after entering windows,,

i go to safe mode and uninstall and install other release but still same,,
after uninstall the driver can be used,,the prob is what driver should i install now?i have uninstall all the nvidia driver because of this problem.now i let the system check by itself and it shows standard vga graphic adapter.

hope someone can help me to solve this,,what driver should i install?
i have spend all night to work on these.now my eye like panda already.

i have download the latest from asus,,266.43.i'll try download the 258 version.hope can solve this.tired already.

what is driver sweeper?i just uninstall it from the device manager at the safe mode?is it safe?

at the asus website driver,,its not mentioned about the driver version like 258 or 266,,its mentioned in form of something like Version V8.17.12.6643 or Version V8.16.11.8964,,,i dont know which one i just download all and will try and error after this.

i've tried this and get the same problem,,stuck after entering windows.

Added on February 9, 2011, 2:15 pmproblem solved after using version 257.41,,now can enjoy my game back.haha.
big thx to you guys. if not because of here im sure i'll still stuck with the vga graphic driver.haha.
