No, the restore is not the same with system restore...
Your files will gone unlike the system restore which retain your files...

@ lee.something strange is happening to my a42jv. after waking up from hibernation mode, my fan(s) is running at full speed, blowing damn loud now. the good thing is my hdd temp is constantly below 40degress now, and my core temp is below 50. but the bad thing is the annoying loud noise doh.gif Btw, I have clean installed my a42jv with win7 home premium 64 bit without any bloatwares, but how come I can't activate the copy using the product key printed below my lappie? Need advice. thx!

Just click to activate over internet, if can not activate, then need to call Microsoft to get activation code...

Didn't tried hibernation before on A42Jv...
If restart, it will go back to normal ?

whn i do assesmnt,its shw directx 10..whn go to dxdiag..its show directx 11...zzz

I tot directX depend on game?

dx10 game will use dx10 eventhough ur system capable until dx11.
