Hi Asus X42DE users ....
Ijust bought this laptop and I was wondering why the sound is not as loud as other laptop like dell or compaq .Are you all experiencing the same issue regarding the sound performance. Please give info or should I sent back to the seller for replacement.TQ
*
The A/K/X series isn't known for its loudness.

Maybe they forgot to discount the adapter's weight?

Have you even seen the recent HP pricings? Their laptops all have really impressive specs for it's price.. The last gen dv6-4003tx, has gddr5 hd6570 and bluray for rm3299.. While the new gen dv6 has i7-2630qm cpu and a gddr5 class 1 hd6770 GPU and beats audio and monster beats solo headphone (worth rm900) for only rm3699.. So far no mainstream laptops can beat it yet.. Their HP-dm1z with e-350 and windows7hp is only selling @rm1499..
