The time estimation is calculated based on your current usage hence the up and down timer..

Nope, its sound like the BIOS problem...
If HDD dead, it should say something like "Operating system not found".. |

Either send back to Asus or do blind-flashing BIOS (which I'm not familiar with)...

Flashing the bios itself is just under 1 minute...
The actual delay, I'm not sure, expect 1 week?.. Might as well ask to fix the wifi as well ? |
