1st reply (after all the complaints and that i already sent the laptop in but the problems still exist, also i don't wish to go all the way to Asus Royal Club AGAIN.)

We apologize for the experience you are facing at the moment.
Can I suggest that we can provide you a pick-up service to collect your laptop at your
prefered location? According to the system record, we were using a few days to try
out the overheat issue, running it with stress test software and leave it over night. I
result was that the unit was not overheating but never-the-less the same problem
has occur and I will inform our engineer to test on it as well as the LCD issue.

2nd reply (i told them that my processor's temperature shoots up to 90+ degrees while playing sc2, i even sent them a screen shot as proof.)

If we found that there are issues with the VGA chipsets (build-in Motherboard), we will definately replace a new Motherboard. Yes, the VGA tempreture shouldn't reach up to 90 degree. There could be also a possibility of fixing the problem by updating the BIOS, BIOS controls the tempreture of the hardware as well.
It will take 5 to 7 working days to repair. At the moment we have the Motherboard in stock.
Please provide me the address you wish us to collect and our agents will contact you for arrangement as well as when returning the unit.

Thanks and regards,
Low

So i sent them my address so they could arrange a time to pick up my laptop.. at least they replied my mail fast enough.

playing sc2 on this laptop give me an average temp of 70 degrees celcius

the sound (multimedia) is very loud but sometimes it is not very clear. the laptop is as silent as thumbup.gif . the build is superb, looks very solid and the design is great. comes with 4 USB ports too.

Depends on the model. For the A series, it's normally a Seagate.

yes u sure can.. that's what they told me when i asked them about whether i can clean the fan and heat sink myself. they said if u do so u would void the remainder of the warranty period
