Man, i was cleaning my LCD TV and i used the nail polisher to clean on sticky part which left by the WII sensor. (reminder: don't follow my stupid step)

And now i left a scar on my LCD TV =.=ll

Anyone know how to solve it and most importantly whether will it spread? Lol ... Stupid question i guess ...

Thanks in advance if there is solution

don't use nail removal for plastic cause it will eat into the plastic and scaring it. next time use wd-40 or sewing machine oil and slowly rub to remove the sticky part. laugh.gif

nowadays LCD cover is jz spray/coated only..if im not mistaken..

actually sticky part..u can do it with a simple stuff. Selefon tape flex.gif

u jz nid2 stick it..repeatly..and slowly it will remove nod.gif

most probably wont spread..but seems not very nice..cox the scar quite big..and its on top if im not mistaken shocking.gif

Whats done is done...

Just go to the sticker shop and get some black stickers...cut it and paste it on it.

If you are creative, you can make it look nicer with carbon fiber looking stickers...but dun over do it..haha

Yea, so sad that my LCD looks so ugly now ... it's 8/80 cm length at the top there sad.gif

However, what i care most is that, will it spread? >.<
Now thinking of putting a black coating cloth up there sweat.gif

Well, the only thing i hope is that it doesn't spread sweat.gif

@lonely_dream: Need to take time to forget since it was bought with my hard earned first job salary during the beginning of this year.

Well it won't spread but the mark will remain there perhaps you can go to the hardware shop and get some matte black spray paint and apply some there cover the rest of the screen apply the spray at a distance to cover affected area... Matte black spray paint will usually works

Think just get a Carbon fiber sticks that usually use in car one to cover the top smile.gif
Since it also can work as "anti-slippery" sweat.gif
