But I did the grip flip like finless bob did ......... Now I bit scare to flip my 450 already because of the crash .... not so confident since the heli is a bit fast to me ...... should I reduce the head speed? Added on May 31, 2011, 7:23 pm Wahhhhh, HK250GT so popular meh? Received an email less than 4 hours ago that the stock has arrived at HK and now it is back order already. the stuff that i stated ... rm350 including poslaju to your place
plug and play into your system ... u can choose to use the STOCK WHIP antennas or the modded SPW/CL i customised i recommend u use the modded antennas coz they give much much better video ... only downside is it is harder to place around the plane .. i placed mine on the vertical tail stab |

i am using that hextronix to power almost all my planes that requires external BEC ... so far so good
the turnigy i am using on my PRO oso so far so good but i only have ONE of that laa ... the rest is hextronix ... oso using another 5-7.5A one ... no problems |

Great, good to hear that since I already have one to use.
Tested with 5V setup and looks like the servo is running slower a bit ..... but actually when I measure with multimeter it has 5.3V output ...... |

yup ... the reviews noted it was 5.3v not 5v exactly but it is close enuff for me laa .. hehehehehe
lower voltage of coz la slower ... and a little less torque oso thats the law pf physics .. who are we to argue .. huahahahahaa |

Weird lah, after changing the main shaft and main gear the +/- pitch different already. Before crash and repair it was like +/- 11.
Just check again after repair without changing anything related to the mixing, now is +12/-10 ........ have to shorten the 3 linkages to swash plate from cyclic servo. Then only better a bit lah like +11 and slightly less than -11, maybe -10.5. If shorten the linkage more I think at full negative pitch the swash will hit the main bearing block liao, so should be ok ho? Or adjust the swash mixing a bit? swash must never hit anything ... at anytime ... at any throttle/pitch/cyclic position
did u put the main shaft upside down ?? hahahahaaa the holes for J bolt and rotorhead maybe at slightly position so u get the pitch different .. hehehe |

I did not put it up side down for sure because the "Align" word on the main shaft is in between the main bearing block, that is the correct one.
Since the swash does not hit anything I think I just re-adjust loh ....... suspecting the position of the main shaft hole for the jesus bolt is slightly longer than the previous shaft ...... Or maybe I've moved the servo before? hehehehhehe, no idea ...... |

u sure u did not put in v2 main shaft ??
PRO and v2 main shaft is not the same ... not sure about main shaft for sport though .... i have never heard of problems like this one ... coz the PRO main shaft for the ring where u put washers and it will not slip below the main bearing block Added on June 3, 2011, 9:13 am QUOTE(sLapshock @ Jun 2 2011, 11:57 PM) u can choose to use stock whip antenna ... that one looks like the one on your radio ... i have included those in .... but do not expect much performance from those lathe one on the plane is called a cloverleaf antenna custom made tuned to the frequency i use ... the one on the receiver is called a skew planar wheel oso custom tuned these design has the best multipath rejection ... and oso u dont lose much video when u bank or go behind small object u try with stock antennas and those antennas then u will know the difference what i have now can go further than your naked eyes can see the plane laa .. hahahahahaa i have never been a height flyer ... the longest distance i have flown with it so far is about 800m at 200-300m height This post has been edited by QiW: Jun 3 2011, 09:13 AM |
