possibly too much pitch .. BCP or 4G6 +10/-10 enuff already

plane is very relaxing if u fly the glider ... can even put the radio down on the ground .. hahahahaha
try flying warbirds like mustang spitfire etc ... it will start to become a challenge

warbirds need not be NITRO or GASSER ... it can be electric
all my planes are electric .. bought 1 GP unit to convert to EP too
conversion will be done myself of coz

batts are very important .. if not power then just leisure flying no hardcore stuff

vibrations from motor/engine etc will cause nuts/bolts to loosen
so just imagine if your nut/bolt loosen or comes off during flight what happens laa ... thats all

if u locktite it then almost no chance for them to loose ..

maybe try to invert the 4G6S today .. took it to work with me
may attempt indoors (inside company store) .. hehehehe

the shops u listed are open on saturdays ..

just went fly in the store ... hehehe
1st batt .. F8 and FF around .. good
2nd batt .. hover pitch pump ... reset gyro gain
then FF going into invert ... FF too fast ... heli went too far .. flew it back towards me inverted ... then dunno why got this pillar beside me go crash into the heli ... hahahahahahaaa
3rd batt ... keep back in car .. huahahaha

conclusion ... my dual rates / EXTENT for cyclic is too high and travel for tail servo not enuff .. and oso fly too far and fast for a small little heli
damage .. ROTOR HEAD bent + blades gone + feathering shaft + possible minor main gear damage
main shaft hard to tell whether damaged or not coz rotor head is slightly wobble already but it looks quite good/not bent (i already previously replaced the 4g6 shaft with 4g3 ones coz i heard it was harder and stronger but about 1mm+ short)
the bevel gears oso looks and feels ok ... i turn and held the tail in hand .. does not feel like any of the shaft gears stripped

so this will be my 1st heli crash since a long long time .. hahahaha
dunno if i have spare rotor head at home .. the rest of the stuff i have laa
will prolly change to plastic rotor head
have to cut down my EXT/dual rates coz heli too damm fast when inverted


Added on December 22, 2010, 2:53 pmps ... it will be hard to do setting changes with the WK 2602 radio i am using now .. trial and error case for next flight
have to do some ordering of parts from chinesejade ... after i go back and give the heli a thorough check of whats damaged

i think it my settings more than anything laa
itchy hand went turn up the dual rates / EXT too much
will turn it back down once heli is repaired .. then try to invert again
this time will be over grass ... just in case .. hahahahaaa

get the EXTENDED SHAFT for your LAMA ... this will help lessen your blade strikes A LOT !!!

i think RHB now have some PAYPAL thing laa ..
u can go to RHB website and have a look .. u open a PAYPAL account and then revert it to your RHB account or something like that

FUNJET is not aimed at the beginner but it has the basics for a beginners plane
it is not a beginner's plane coz it too fast and twitchy for beginner to handle
landing is not a problem as long as u have big enuff space

i dont fly my heli very much ... nowadays mostly fly planes
i fly most mondays wednesdays fridays evenings .. saturday and sunday mornings .. pending weather conditions and ppl turning up of coz

EP or GP is all preference laa .. up to u one mr daddoo

u can more consistent power thru the whole flight
possibly lower cost for nitro fuel if u dunno how to take care of your lipos
but ..
u must know how to tune your engine
be prepared to carry lots of equipment to the field (pump starter etc etc)

duno how much current those servos suck laa ... but it oso depends on whether u are loading them kow kow or not
450 size i would not go for anything less than 3A to be safe
my 450PRO using external BEC .. 3A nominal 5A peak

mr slapshock ... wanna sell your scorpion oso never offer here 1st
offer me a good price with shipping i can consider .. hehehehe

one for ESC and another for BEC
