QUOTE(QiW @ Jul 12 2011, 02:58 PM) mr daddoo got rebuild the whole heli or not ?? hehehe do u "feel" the headspeed higher than your 450PRO or not ?? it should be higher or at least the same if your max/min pitch is confirmed then u might wanna have a look at your pitch and throttle curves if those oso confirmed then maybe motor KONG liau .. tough luck if that happens but small motors for the trex 250 is cheap laa .. less than rm50 delivered to your door from HBK Added on July 12, 2011, 3:16 pmthat looks interesting but i have never seen it here it is very unique .. Got my t8fg 14ch tx. Qiw u use lipo? Which lipo did u get from? Added on July 12, 2011, 5:02 pmAm i able to save memory and planes without inserting the memory card or u beed to have memory cards? Which in other words... Memory card is only to be used to transfer models? This post has been edited by sLapshock: Jul 12 2011, 05:02 PM

Those are just for taiwanese .... Local sale in taiwan only. But i do agree that the prices after currency conversion are cheaper here in malaysia. Anyhow, compare to other country like US they are actually spending much more lesser than us to buy heli or parts. With the same earning amount (maybe higher than us), they pay a few hundred to get one 450 only .......
Just dismantled the 250 heli into pieces, damn the conditions of the parts really freak me out, have to replace around 30% of the parts i think, that's a cost to buy one brand new clone already. No more second hand heli in the future already unless i know the seller very well .........

Mislead by the seller because he put "almost very good condition" ........ My bcp condition is better than this 250 when i sold and yet i dun dare to say like that loh Added on July 13, 2011, 8:42 amForget to say, that heli still can lift off and quite ok lah. It was my mistake to get the false reading of the collective pitch with that super duper sloppy head. This post has been edited by daddoo: Jul 13 2011, 08:42 AM

I wanted to know if I should use the thread lock that comes in the kit or if I should buy the thread lock separately, same thing for the grease in the thrust bearing and auto hub....your guys building experiences are needed here..... hi, im a newbie to RC helicopter. I just bought my RC helicopter last week and i dun really play with it much jus some practice on hoping n landing (not until 2 days, operate for 10 mins maximum for a day as i was busy). on the third day i try to operate after a full battery charge the heli fly as usual for 15-20 seconds then suddenly drop down...i was quite disappointed as i had spent about RM150 on it. My controler part is ok i did not do anything it jus drop down like tht. after a double check i notice tht when i turn it on the LEDs arent on - thus no power n the motor will not run simply because no electricity. But the battery was fully charge, i did dismantle the case n see wats wrong. What i did was turn the switch on for 5 min n i notice some components like the capacitor were hot so as other parts like socket plug to LEDs and no doubt the battery was a bit warm too. Anyone here can give me advice? The model is Phantom-15 gyro heli This post has been edited by TeddyBear00: Jul 13 2011, 04:28 PM

Get lamav3 or v4
Added on July 13, 2011, 10:15 pmQiw, what did you put for timer st1 and st2? U use both? What are they for?
Currently my throttle hold is on the SF, which is my timer stop for st1 too. My start/reset is SH.
Im not sure what st2 are for or do i really need the stop function.

u actually need only 1 timer .. the 2nd timer is extra and u dont have to use it if u dont want eg. 1st timer set 2mins ... this one for rempit style flying 2nd timer set 4mins .. this one for normal relaxed flying so when i get my plane up and rempit kow kow i know to come down on 1st timer ... if i just fly relaxed style then i know batt can fly for 4 mins so i come come 2nd timer lorr ...
mine is set to follow throttle stick ... once i am over certain position (1 or 2 bar from bottom) the timer starts coz thats the time where u start sucking the batt .. no throttle = almost negligible consumption same goes for my heli coz u almost never hit full negative pitch to stop the timer and even if u do it is for a very short while only my 2nd timer is set to my idle up switch so i know the longer i stay in idle up mode the faster i have to come down ....

Wow thats even better. Means your timing start only when you have throttle input and when you let down timing stop and resume once again when you input throttle? Is that possible? Coz i play glider, sometime throttle off and glide then throttle on to climb.
