QUOTE(Kent3888 @ Nov 18 2010, 06:58 PM) Huh.... I'm aiming to get one, since u say not good, then wat std zoom is good? Don tell me Nikkor's 4k+ 17-55, which is unreachable for me i think 17-50 tammy is quite good. altho not as gud as nikon. think its a bargain. ive done lot of shoot with the lens . and it's a good lens for beginner like me. |

U all are so good .. I do studio shoot and didn't use manual focus , setting manually yes. Only if I shoot on film camera that require manual focus then I used it . Very powerful

[being sarcastic of course] owh u wanna compare picture .one of the picture with 18-55 non VR on a d40 not as good as the tamron but yeah... not that bad i think ![]() Camera Nikon D40 Exposure 0.003 sec (1/400) Aperture f/11.0 Focal Length 18 mm ISO Speed 1600 Exposure Bias +7/3 EV Flash No Flash pardon for the crazy iso setting... was my first ever dslr using manual ![]() but ur picture with the BEST lens is better rite . anymore picture to show with that kit lens. still i say 1870 is better. but if u wanna learn go for 50mm . the best cheapest lens ever made. |
