QUOTE(ComradeZ @ Nov 20 2010, 07:05 PM) hehe most of the time, I'll practice at home... with my flashgun as my model. Try to practice compose from there... when my works done then.. maybe I'll travel by bus to kelantan or terengganu try to explore the world of outside the house Woah the sharpness of Canon 35mm f1.4 I've seen this 1 guy... doing a portrait for people of detroit and I must say... the photos are inspiring.. Just love how he captured those portrait Noah Stephens Is the Nikkor 24-70 as sharp as that? I know can't compare primes to zooms but the 24-70 is a really sharp lens |

Guys, how's the performance of the 85mm f1.8? Considering to swap my 50mm f1.4 for that lens coz of the range. I barely use my 50mm coz I can get the range using 17-50. Yes it's sharper but f1.4 is barely usable anyway.
In my mind now, 85mm f1.8 or Tammy SP90 (which is macro, I like macro a lot and this lens can be used as a normal lens too right?) |

QUOTE(KTCY @ Dec 1 2010, 02:10 PM) Haha. 35 instead of 24? One guy in flickr used Canon's 35 f1.4 and took pics of people in detroit(someone shared it here last time), really impressed me. Very sharp and nice bokeh too. Wonder how's the nikon performance QUOTE(kaizenng90 @ Dec 1 2010, 02:12 PM) Is tried my friend's Tamron 12-24 last time, i didn't like it. Very soft especially at the corners. *or it's my eyes?* |
