QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 6 2010, 09:43 AM) It's all about supplement and nutrient timing. Bcaa's, hydrolysed whey, regular whey isolate, casein, waxy maize, all have their place. Whey and dextrose now isn't sufficient enough anymore, especially in my line of work and lack of sleep/recovery time. We should train together again jamis, I've progressed a lot more. The 225 lbs for shoulder pressing I used to have, I press it easy now AFTER pre exhausting with 50lbs db laterals. =P tats insane, lol i m just about to be able to push 90lbs haha. Yeah, for sure dude, but most probably it gona be saturday, cant really make it in the evening. Explain this. When you talk shit about a supplement company, you better show links and facts to back it up. |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 15 2010, 12:16 PM) Bah! You're more lucky. I wasted a shitload of cash on ON Whey, just ON Whey for several years. I felt the damn difference when i started experimenting with intraworkout supps months ago. I'm getting a bit bored of extend. Probably looking into Purple Wrath next. Thank goodness for protein blends. Perfect for prebedtime for those of my profession with no time to even wipe my ass. Whey was too fast digesting, casein was too expensive, eggs were getting disgusting. Hey purple wraath is pretty good, but make sure u get the lemonade flavour.moe81: seriously i felt the diff bro. |

lol, is a good pick bro those EAA and that animal pak is abit pricey i m still considering if i m going to take anavite after this or take some MLM's multivitamin XD. Anyway, i love Animal pak for the reason that it has grape seed extract, great antioxidant.
This morning i just realize the label on my Xtend, 160 -180lbs, u got to take 4 scoops (split it in half in the morning and the other half intra) and another 2 scoop post workout, tats like freaking 6 scoops and 6 scoops if u r 180 above. Dayum. I gona stick with intra only eventhou my NO doesnt have any bcaa XD. |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 17 2010, 02:15 PM) Depends. If your daily nutrition is in order, you don't need to sip Xtend during the day. I was in medical and I needed to do that. But now in orthopaedics it's better and drinking blends or mrp's will help in positive nitrogen balance. 3-4 scoops intra is fine. It was quite long ago i tried purple wraath, but the experience was good. If u were to compare this two,i felt that Xtend do provides me with a better endurance thou but i didnt take any NO with my purple wraath last time so... cant really tell the core effect of purple wraath hehe. One thing bad about purple wraath, u dont know the exact amount of bcaa, malate and etc in the supplement So how does Purple Wratch compare to Xtend? |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 17 2010, 04:17 PM) Controlled Labs' products have always been pretty solid, just a tad expensive. White Flood doesn't stand out in terms of energy spikes but it gives unbelievable pumps. I took some from my sister's stack. Let's see if Purple Wrath works. Yeah, agree. Tried whiteflood before as well, i prefer superpump250 over it and now i m using SAN Fierce, the focus is seriously there and the pump is just right and superpump250 give vascularity xD.Added on December 17, 2010, 11:46 pm QUOTE(darktronic @ Dec 17 2010, 06:16 PM) Guys, does it a good idea to mix casein and whey together? Planning to buy ON casein and whey to replace my myofusion. Reasoning is i think i can control the ratio of casein and whey like before bedtime, i can put more casein than whey and vice versa after training. Right now i only use myofusion. myofusion ada telur summore, i would get myofusion for MRP and any normal whey for post workout. This post has been edited by jamis: Dec 17 2010, 11:46 PM |

QUOTE(pedro @ Dec 18 2010, 06:02 PM) 1 serving 42g of protein dayum!QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 18 2010, 06:10 PM) That you gotta ask Ken cos even if i knew how to make the optimal self made liquid MRP, I still wouldn't have time. It was easier said than done when studying but once one starts working at a hospital like UH, i never realized how essential pre ready MRPs were. Trying this new one in a tub from Nutrabolics. Pretty damn good taste. i tried to mix my whey + blended flexseed and sunflower seed before when i was with anabolic diet, but i didnt count the macro properly and end up gain fat at the same time. So i was thinking may be myoplex + those seed would be a good choice as whey is just digesting too fast. Hey, actually u can blend those nut or seeds for the entire week and keep it in a bottle and everyday just premix it in the shaker so when time is up just add in water Xd, its quite handy. |

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Dec 18 2010, 10:44 PM) Remember, calories are calories. At the end of the day it's input vs output. Fats even deemed healthy if overdone will contribute to fat gain. 20 cans of tuna a day can make you fat. My preworkout now during work is an MRP an i hit the gym an hour or 3 later. Workout has changed a lot. Hitting close to 40 sets, even Yeah, last time i dont understand why 4rings doesnt count calories, and only i found out that counting macro is actually the thing lol and tats when i start to lose fat. more per session. This is what those mad juicers at True Fitness made me do for biceps. 45lbs bar x 20 x 2 65 lbs x 15 85lbs x 12 105lbs x 10 125lbs x 10 145lbs x 10 145lbs x 8 plus 5 forced reps drop to 105lbs x 6 plus another 8 forced reps, rest 10 secs, 85lbs x 10 plus 5 forced reps. sw That was the first exercise! Madness. Do you know I was screaming in pain and almost crying? Lol. They're insane! Tats is totally madness, and a crazy drop set. I saw some guys in TF doing squat on smith machine sometime on the saturday (i dont know if they are the same guy u trained with), the training is insane, they squat the entire session and end with leg press then go home, i was there for like an hour plus, and all they do is just squat and presses. Oh yea, i plan to get casein + egg protein for my MRP. Wat do u think of glutamine dark, it seems pretty impressive from the theory side XD |

I think Iamyanwu did mentioned before on the fast digesting protein with sufficient enzyme then it will only "fully" digest the amount of protein that u consumed. Therefore, alternatively u can add in some slow release protein that the body can absorb more completely.
I have read another article long time ago regard casein and whey for postworkout which promotes muscle grow and bla bla bla and i did it before, taking whey with milk for post workout, but i m a lactose intolerance victim, the toilet broke aft i tried it for 1 month. XD |
