I guess that U should check with ur maintaince 1st. Usually if it's the building's pipe then it's covered. (ceilling pipe line)
I'm having a problem with a cap of one of the pipe. I took photos & e-mail my maintaince office & they repaired it free.

Leakage from WC & taps then it's at own cost.

I'm doing my reno as well but the plumber service is covered by my contractor.
