hey wanna ask all the tech gurus here, just recently got an xbox 360 slim from us, the thing is i've got a step down transformer but its really noisy so am wondering whether i can just buy an asian power brick and use it ?

is it true? any xbox from other region woth diff power can just swap any power brick from any local xbox?
