Went to pc-fair-thingy @ mv today. There's stock for 16/32gb..

OK, i ported in from Maxis this morning... and my line has been switched in the evening. Now awaiting reply - should be able to go Mid Valley to get my phone tomorrow. There is stock for both 16/32 GB. So basically you port in and wait when the port in happens (usually 1-3 days) then you go get the phone. If they are still at the fair, you can go there and get the phone. If your port in happens after the 3 days, then you have to go to their HQ which is in Kepong to get the phone. So basically although you sign the forms to port in.. you have to wait till the switch actually happens. How will u know when it happens? Well, suddenly your current line will cease to have reception then you know that it has happened. You can switch to your digi sim card straight away and use it. So when the switch happens, contact your sales person if you can go and collect the phone - and they'll tell you when to collect it (they have ready stock so it's immediate).

The fair starts at 11am. Don't go early no point - you can't enter - the guards are strict.

16GB phone is RM 2090 but now have to pay extra RM500 advance payment ( and you won't pay any bills for the first few months until the RM 500 is used up) So it's RM2590. I think the RM500 is to prevent people from switching camps or selling their iphones or etc.
