Read the local malaysian forums. I think stringfellow has repetitively said that; the problem lies with American users and AT&T.

With us Malaysians, there isn't much of an issue, except if you're looking to use a keyboard instead of the touchscreen, like me.

Anyways, since this is a DiGi -iPhone discussion thread, I would say that if you're looking into buying a smartphone from DiGi (They have various offerings) the iDiGi plan with iPhone 4 is definitely worth the price you're paying for, even if you're locked in for 2 years. the 3 years aka 36 month package is just not worth the value.

As for DiGi vs other telcos, I'm not gonna bash any telcos, but do some reading. I suggest you stick very closely to the yellow man.

I myself am coming over to w'st malaysia, and hoping that in a 9 hour transit gap, I can make a dash to the DiGi centre in KL to get my new iPhone 4.

I'm thinking of getting one tomorrow once I touch down at LCCT from Tawau, Sabah, so that I could start charging and then play with my iPhone as I cruise along the PLUS highway to Penang.

D'Chat seems not to be directly answering my questions.

^They're not always that helpful

Maybe you should just give your preferred DiGi center a call asking for the availability.

that's the problem. the one nearest to me is 500KM away. LOL.

its just that tomorrow i'll be touching down around 1pm noon. So I have like 2-3 hours from Duta (that's what I heard that all busses redirected there) and grab myself an iPhone 4 before taking up a bus up to Penang that very night itself. Sounds very rushed, yes I admit but I've been sort of waiting for this day.

I'm not asking you to physically go to the centre,I'm suggesting you to call them.

Ah, will try that.
