Added on May 8, 2011, 12:11 am QUOTE(dan2011 @ May 7 2011, 10:15 PM) hi, i just got my iphone4 from DIGI today... i am wondering if i should disable cellular data in Settings > General > Network... Better disable, the data may take sometime to be activated in their system. You dont wamt to get charge for data before the plan kick start. This post has been edited by DE.si.MON: May 8 2011, 12:11 AM |

just chatted with digi staff online, they said the RM200 rebate (mother's day promo) dont apply to EPP.
But on TheStar the ads is so big that it written RM200 rebate and there with the EPP. So is the RM200 rebate valid for EPP? |

QUOTE(acbc @ May 27 2011, 04:09 PM) Just got back from DiGi. Stupid and useless company. Worse than bloodsuckers! that RM968+202 is not the plan amount, is the iphone balance amount (total iphone retail price). My plan is a 24 months bought with 3GS last year. As the iPhone is already dead, I still have 11 months of prepaid (RM 88 x 11 months paid in advance) with DiGi. So, I opt for the iPhone4 upgrade. And guess what? It cannot be done. To do so, I had to forfeit the 11 months and sign up for new 24 months. When query about the 11 months, the management said it is my loss. WTF? Already take my money and now telling me to f*** off? Why can't they offset the 11 months from the new 24 months? It is the same shit. After all, the cash already with DiGi. I stand to lose RM 968 (RM 88 x 11 months) and RM 202 (overpaid amount) if I sign up for iDiGi88 with iPhone4. If that is the case, since I'm going to lose so much, might as well MNP my number to another operator and sign up for IP4. DiGi being an arrogant arse not giving a fair deal to existing customer. BTW, I have 6 company lines with them. Will terminate all 6 lines and MNP to Maxis or Celcom instead. Already told them off to find a solution or risk fighting with them in the Consumer Tribunal hearing. if you cancel, u need to pay the original 3gs retail price, they gave u discount when sign the plan. if you go Consumer Tribunal, confirm you will lose. Sure they will cancel the line, but u need to pay retail price. basically u already pay retail price (with no discount) + plan 88 for 13month (when u cancel). Added on May 27, 2011, 10:53 pmif so easy to win in consumer tribunal. everyone already do that lar. and digi/maxis/celcom can close shop. like giving free iphone to everyone. Added on May 27, 2011, 11:23 pmNext time just sign 12months plan better. This post has been edited by DE.si.MON: May 27 2011, 11:23 PM |

QUOTE(liverpool red @ May 28 2011, 11:10 AM) Hmmm don't know what u guys are using 3G for but I seldom switch mine on as it drains battery faster. I'm using edge and im happy with it. If got some YouTube videos to watch or I'm tethering on my pc, then only I on 3G. If not, why 3G? 3g allow both calls and data.If download stuff, better use wifi when it's available. Just my two cents. edge only 1 way. if you on data, you will receive miss call if someone call you. eg. if you on edge. assume some application at background running with push data on. most of all your calls will end up as miss call. Added on May 28, 2011, 11:31 amfor me i off 3g + data. didnt expect push. best to save battery. This post has been edited by DE.si.MON: May 28 2011, 11:31 AM |
