Tested the 2.0P
The drive was a pleasure. The handling is great.
But there is one major concern.

This is something that is very apparent even among other units in different showrooms I went. Something that doesnt exist in the Mitsu counterpart.

The freaking doors!!!
You need to slam or semi slam the doors for them to be closed properly. Other makes only need a lil push and the door will be closed.
Every single time I close the door, I will feel very frust.
How?

actually i made my booking on the inspira, now im holding back and might withdraw it due to 2 reasons
1. the Door!!!!!!
2. delivery date (every SA tells u dem dif thing)

vios n city is cheaper car category wor
i tested the Mitsu version, sportsback, the close door feel like conti car

solid feel is dif than having to open and slam the door again wor

i was eager in waiting for the inspira actually
i know about the rebadging, and i know about the compromise in accepting the % in local parts and being CKD by Proton
the price justifies all that

when i test drive the 2.0, it felt great too, no complain there

But every single unit of Inspira that I felt, whenever during the exit period, its a very very frustuating experience.
Every single unit, every showroom. I did make a comparison with the Lancer. No such experience.

It is with the door. With me needing to open it back, and slam it in to get it shut. If it was too weak, I will need to reopen and reslam the door
always drilling it in my head that i bought a junk. not worth an almost 100k car.

If proton can do such a bad job in CKD-ing the car
imagine what can they do in the long run, esp in service n warranty
they can only make it worse

that effort is the one turning me off
imagine a relative/fren u fetching
when they wanted to close the door, then aiks....its not closed
open, close, aiks, still not closed
then in the end need slaming

both look at each other, thinking....oh, u bought a proton
not acceptable for a 100k car

uneven sudden close is even worse on the inspira
it doesnt absorb gravity swings
