I jz went to Mitsubishi showroom and spoke to a manager. He a friendly chap.. cool2.gif We jz had some chat and he quite honest though. He says Proton is doing a good job collaborating with Mitsu which helps Malaysian to get affordable car. Those ppl mentioned Inspira is not good is just trying to butthurt ppl only. I am also being told that body of inspira is using the same material also except some interior different.. drool.gif MALAYSIA BOLEH..

Regarding the CVT tranmission, he say there are not complain at all for the overheat issue. Jz take care by maintaining the car well after doing high rpm.

Still wondering when I get my inspira. tongue.gif

what's wrong with you anyway? i said for those butthurt lancer owners only. if you are not butthurt then dont feel anything lor.

Twice already i been offended. the first time someone saying i dont have any cars and poor man.

Now second time someone saying i accused ALL lancer owner instead i wrote ALL BUTTHURT lancer owners.. fu*k up.. i cancel my booking.

Now you prove you are butthurt, I am not the one have problem here, you are by labeling such thing, no such thing as butthurt inspira owner or butthurt lancer owner, it's their money, their choice, whatever the outcomes later, be it good or bad on either inspira or lancer, they are the one responsible for it, grow up dude, get a life.

Today, I ask at nearer PE again, they say that for 2.0, take 2 to 3 months. For 1.8, take 1 month.

Any of you guys got experience sending the car to any of these service centers?

1. EON Jalan 225
2. Proton Edar Mutiara Damansara
3. Proton Edar, Section 13, PJ
4. Proton Edar Centre of Service Excellence, Subang Jaya

Any other recommendations?

Can i check with everyone here who have done their loan approval.
afaik HLB could offer 3.3%, how many years warranty will be given? Is it 3 years? if i extended warranty which cost me another 0.2%, which mean i would have 5 years warranty? Pls correct if i m wrong. tq

According to my SA, Proton is offering WARRANTY for 1st 3 years or 100,000km. So if you were to opt for the EWP just add another 0.2% and you get additional 2 years, so total will be 5 years or XXX (I am not sure how many KM extra). So yes, you get 5 years in total. The con side of it you basically cannot skip the scheduled service and service must be recorded each time and be performed in SC only. Outside workshop does not count and if you have claims you need to submit and wait for approval or else you pay 1st then hope can claim the full amount later. For me 3 years of going to SC is more than enough.

I used to go to the COE off KESAS. Many cars there for regular services and warranty claims too. Big waiting room with a TV and 2 PCs with free internet usage apart from plenty of the Sun Newspaper including others, old-edition car mags also. There is a canteen on the 1st Floor. All those in full air-conditioned surrounding, but of course not the service bays which are really many in numbers.

Spare parts readily available too with several senior service advisers. Proton's technical and non- technical brasses officed there , i think.

Used to see Dato' Syed Zainal Abidin's car parked there plus Proton Directors too.

It could be different now though.

guys...those who reviewed the car performance, is it possible to make it more objective..try to make a direct comparison with an equivalent car..

if you're saying the 2.0cvt car performance is sluggish, in comparison of what, an Civic, Altis, Slyphy, or even a proton GTI? this will put things into better perspective...

be mindful that this is a 1.8 manual, 1.8 & 2.0 cvt automatic sedan..it aint a supercar we talking about here..

THanks for ur sharing mate... rclxms.gif
For myself i think the additional interest rate is just 0.2% (pay additional 600++) only for another 2 years. it kinda worth it.
If their engineer is really that lousy, then perhaps can send it for others mechanic for repair... just my own opinion smile.gif

Thanks for staying level headed. You have my respect. But can everyone stop this "butthurt" word? LOL. Can't you say dissapointed, or sad, or angry or furious peeved or livid or whatever else you can think of. "butthurt" implies one gets raped from behind, and even if you don't mean to degrade anyone, by using the word, you already did.

Anyway, I think it would be cool if someone could compare the 2.0 Inspira to the 2.0 Sylphy. The Sylphy's CVT is really really excellent. I feel nothing of the "rubber band" effect some people relate to CVTs. Engage the sport mode, and it can really run! Tap the accelerator and it responds almost immediately.

BTW, there's a possibility my manual can arrive next week whistling.gif The SA or the center is refusing to sell me the car cash, so... I'm taking the smallest loan possible. As soon as that's done, they said the car can probably be delivered. thumbup.gif

Thanks for the info. Not using Proton any more is it? smile.gif How long ago did you go there? How about service time? Do they take long? How long would it take for (a) Lub Service (b) Minor Service © Major Service?
