Still got problems? I thought someone posted the delivery trucks are on its way, giving me hope!!

I dont know if Proton got a Kastam office (similar like to tobacco and liquor producing plant) at their assembly plant or not, if they have, the car will only be allowed to leave the compound with proper paper work and tax paid, else its stuck inside. So seeing the pictures of cars being delivered on the truck to dealers, shows taxes already paid in my opinion. Those in showroom can be sold immediately as the duties are paid prior to delivery. Can anyone confirm this?

I think we will just need to look forward to next week for some good news. If customs are having issues then it will not only affect us, other cars will be the same, so the backlog is even greater if this is the case. Hopefully can get it before Christmas,

I think you are a little misguided here. All are free to speak but remember the topic is about Inspira for owners/fans only. rewlie and a few others are always provoking as the mod put it, even the mod can read the provoking nature of their post, so its more provoking than providing valuable information, even a dust is found on the Inspira will be condemned if you get my drift. If you want to enjoy colorful debate or saturday night live, this is not the place.

I would rather listen to the reviews & updates of an Inspira owner than a Lancer owner simply because its clear two different cars in its own right. If you owned a Lancer, how would you able to give an unbiased review on Inspira just based on a test drive or viewing the unit. So they will look at superficial aspects of the car and use their own feel-good logical thinking that an Inspira at the cheap price assembled by Proton cannot match the expensive CBU quality of the Lancer. I am not saying Inspira is perfect copy in built quality but Lancer is not a perfect car either. So whats the point comparing, justifying and arguing if Lancer itself is not perfect. Unless one is torn between choosing either Inspira or Lancer.

As for our friend rewlie, he created another nick to do bashing, the mod found out, therefore he violated the rules and got himself banned. He must be to eager to vent his displeasure over Inspira and not thinking properly. Sad to see him go, but I am quite sure he will back with another nick soon.

There are many who read and do not post but interested about the car, and these are the people who wants to read facts and experience about Inspira not how a Lancer owner feel about Inspira and so on. So if they want to know about INSPIRA then we shall wait for more owners to give their input, most definitely not from a Lancer owner. Its not the lacking of interest to share our experience but the slow delivery of the car to owners dampens it. We are now in the stage of car delivery, discussing about delivery, delays and etc. Not informative to you but to know our Kastam dept is having issues, then it helps those like myself waiting to be more understanding towards our SA & Proton. We are trying to share as much info as possible with our fellow readers, and post like yours discussing mod decision is already off topic.

We certainly dont mind hearing anything lacking about the car but when replies from rewlie & gang such as "good luck" and "i told you so", does it sound like very informative to you or not and its provoking, dont you think? Mod certainly think so.

If lancer owners truly want to help us out in understanding the car, please do. But if they want to come to degrade Inspira, please do it some where else. Funny how Lancer owners say their ride is different/superior than Inspira but then come here to do bashing to justify their ride is better than Inspira? Please have more self-esteem.

I got mine approved long time ago, and the loan officer said only to sign when the car is allocated to me. If your SA didnt call you to sign up, means no car is allocated to you yet.

How long are you guys prepared to wait after the 2 months deadline is up on the 15th of Dec, I am referring to those who booked on soft launch. The Proton customer hotline officer told me to wait until 15th the latest before lodging a complain to them for a speedy car allocation (I wonder if this will work at all) or you are prepared to wait until it comes no matter what?

Did he say how long it takes to do the installation? Because I think its a retrofit projector he is selling at that price, and it may take more time to install than those projector headlamp that come as a whole unit.

So you are all set for this mod? Shouldn't be any warranty issue right?

I am having the dilemma of modding , when its still new, the modding feel & mood is there. but risk the warranty being void, but say after 3 years when the warranty ends, want to mod also lazy already...crap ,

not sure what you are implying here, it's not as if only inspira is utilizing fuel here, even hybrid cars need to fuel up although it consume less, even if you don't use any fuel you will still be burdened by increase of fuel prices as it will also affect an increase in other daily necessity items, so no escaping fuel hikes unless you practically grow your own food, use a bicycle, use solar for electricity & source own water, so are you taking this path?
