To all my fellow friends in SC:

I am deeply touched that I was allowed to open this great thread for the first time, being quite new to SC.

When I first joined, all of you made me feel welcomed, and for that I am forever grateful. When I felt lonely, you were there to cheer me up, and I will not forget that.

The only right thing for me, indeed for all of us to do is to extend that same welcoming feeling towards all newcomers to SC. From this day on, we pledge to include everyone who wants to join, both in conversation within the threads and gatherings outside of it.

Not every gathering must include everyone. If a gathering is marked as closed, and this will be fairly often, then it is for the ones who start it to decide who to include. After all, we all have closer groups of friends, even within SC. But if a gathering is marked as open, then all will be welcome to join without exception.

For my term of being TS, I promise everyone who comes for the first time will get a chocolate. Yes that includes all you people who have met me before, because this is the first time I get to be TS.
