Please give opinion, Im suggesting that FAM should consider expanding the Malaysian League. Instead of just having the state teams, why not break up each of the state teams into few more clubs according to city or district. For example, in Selangor we have more than one city such as Petaling Jaya, Klang and Shah Alam while in Sarawak there are at least 10 cities to create a solid football league. From this we will be able to uncover new talents and expand the league to at least three division with 14 teams per division or more. If in one city or district have more than one team that would be great. For example, in Liverpool itself there are Liverpool FC and Everton. Import players is also a concern. We should limit on foreign imports to only three per team in first division, 2 for second division and 1 for third division to make sure proper development and financial of a team. Teams are not allowed to have foreign goalkeepers. Teams should have 1 foreign player for each section in defence, midfield and forward to guide the locals and unearth new talents. Is it possible to create such league. Maybe with this idea we can attract more better foreign players to play with the local teams thus attracting better sponsors. But besides, financial and geographical situation, what are the problems face to create the ultimate league in the country. We could go all the better than the J-League. rclxms.gif |
