I heard that installing the COD requires internet connections and also a Steam account and Steam software?!?! I'm at a place temporarily without internet connections, so I'm kinda desperate. Please and thank you :-)

if u buy retail then no need use steam. if u buy from steam then of course la need use steam. but if u buy pirate, pls dont ask here.

mi-g it depends. I bought my COD BO here in UK, the disc automatically installs Steam for you.

This is not true. Cod BLops is a Steamworks game. Sigh...read my steam guide. To TS you are screwed. It's written in the back(probably in the front too), require internet connection for installation.

You still need Steam to activate regardless where you get unless you are using pirated.

There are dedicated servers, but the closest to us are in Aus and Japan.

I`m using Windows 7 home premium, Processor Intel COre i5, GTX 460 GC (overclock) and 4 GB RAM also lag. is it normal ?

new patches should take care of the performance issues

forget to mention is Black Ops.
Original also got performance issue? sorry coz I just blindly bought it as I like MW games

Yup. Correct. Just mine is home premium.

I played the single player. Lag as well . I google it and just know this game got performance and lag issues.
