QUOTE(binzai @ Nov 23 2010, 04:36 PM) You can do so by going to your FFXIV installation foldereg. C:\program files\squareenix\final fantasy xiv\FFXIVconfig.exe in there ya can change the language, game pad setting, and graphic settings as well as the resolution be warn when you go full screen, you will make the game crash when you ALT+TAB. |

QUOTE(gaeryn @ Nov 23 2010, 05:55 PM) I wonder if people actually take the trouble to read the manual ya, but manual books dont say "If you alt+tab in full screen you will crash the game" lololololor find out information before they ask questions? Sorry if I sound harsh, but this has happen one too many times. If it's stat crunching/class mechanics, then that's a different matter. |

QUOTE(mengdez @ Nov 24 2010, 01:15 PM) Even we are casual LS, still, communication are vital between each of us if we want to progress in this game. MMO means you play with other, interact with other, this including find out what happen to LS. The best information are mostly in the forum as well as not all of us can online at the same time all the time. I agree, to those who wish to play in same timezone, join Wutai's No Life. |

QUOTE(cressalve @ Nov 25 2010, 10:35 AM) From what I've read from quite reliable sources, for a DOL jobs, there's like 2 kind of fatigues. Uhmmmmmmmmmmm well you will be lucky if the fatigue gotten when you on friday or saturday. 1st is when you, eg. mine for a straight hours non stop and then all of the sudden everything is damaged even from the 1st strike, makes you wondering "Wah! My pick is so the powderful it even break everything in 1 hit o.0, lets try hit the crabs with this uber pick, yarghhhhhh *dead*". This is what most peeps call the soft fatigue. Playing other jobs usually resets the fatigue by time. This is fine by me lol 2nd is when, well, the SP number is shown in yellow/red in color. This is what I'm ticked off... A week to reset by itself? Dang... That's hell too long for a time >.> Even when I leveled other jobs for hours, ranking up several jobs and my mining still suffers from surplus >.< While it doesn't effect gathering materials eg. broken/damaged or whatnot, it still ticks me off when I didn't get that much of the usual SP I got lol Well, dunno nuthin' bout DOH tho, but I guess it's quite the same huh? Sigh... Waiting is pain lol See the fatigue and you on 1st page to understand how it goes down. but on how detail it is, no one really calculate it. lol |

During synthesis, sometimes according to the element hour and element day also with the moon phasing, it can effect your Synthesis.
This has been reported a lot of time by most crafters during a certain time where most of the crafters botch their synthesis. All crafting has their own moon phasing, recipes that has elements used (shard/crystals) so this can be effected by the time and moon you are going through. zam has a clock widget and hour/day element that you can look out for. |

QUOTE(Hiroishime @ Nov 25 2010, 11:58 AM) yeah no shit lol, gotta love RNG in FF14 like i said earlier.. sometimes for no reason its just botch botch botch, just a bad day xD FFXI is about direction, but FFXIV is not about direction, is the hour and day element, is not superstition, in here i would recomend you to wear stuff that favor your class and the stats it give you and make sure to be within your rank to get most of it.this is main reason i didnt craft in FFXI lol, really dont like this kind of superstition.. so..whoever botches synth! u should face west while wearing subligar and santa's sock during half moon at the day Aeyzyma, this would guarentee your synth! use good skills to gain better outcome. and yea.. full moon is a b****. |

QUOTE(Hiroishime @ Nov 25 2010, 12:22 PM) yeah equip-wise, i equip whatever favor my class but for hours and element day sounds pain in the ass to follow, i could use my time to farm shards instead of waiting for the day and hour.. it would totally sucks though if it really does matter since playtime limited XD The crafter coalition did.. lolbut then again, direction of FF11 was never proved.. only thing SE said what matters is the furnitures inside your moghouse have influence on crafting but was never about direction. it would requires a load of testing to prove this this daytime stuff.. |
