There lots of impovement but lack of contents.
Don't play FF14 .. play other mmo games.
FF14 only suitable for ex-FF11 or FF Siries Die Hard Fan liike me lol.

In my End Game LS (Even though there is no end game yet) we have a term of " welcome to the VOID " to anyone that reach Rank 50 in our LS.

That is because most of the LS member that reach rank 50 start to play rarely or quit the game. >.<

I already stated that the game already have lots of improvement, but lack of contents.
- You can re-map certain keyboard key to open Inventory, Journal, Gears and etc with one tap of keyboard.
- Crafting is faster with 8 latest recipe list, and 1 click with mouse in inventory to put in craft ingredients and less pages to start crafting.
- You can zoom out more than before and can circle the camera to front of you.
- Skill point are base on kill and not from hit.
- Skill point in PT are double/triple than solo.
- You get more skill point from high level mob.
- UI are faster that than launch day/beta
- there is open area NM and faction NM
- you can have two windows chat for LS/say chat and one for battle window.
- mouse are now pass through the chat window for easier to target mobs.
- there is a new update in ffxiconfig that now you can lower you graphic setting more fps
- you will get 2 retainer free with 100 inventory slot x2 and 100 on yourself
- currently no need to pay to play
- market ward.. you can search items you want and can see the price list. and after that you can mark the retainer you want to buy the item. and enter the market ward and in mini map you can see the star red dot of the retainer.
- and I'm almost rank 50. 70k sp to go.

SO generally to say .. in-game control is OK.

Letter from producer for future plan of the updates.

The reason I still play is I joined a big LS with member all around the world, SG, NZ, US, GB, Netherland and etc and few of them becomes my games buddy.
Sp pt now is more fun .. more sp than before.
Hunting NM for drops, doing leve for faction points for NM faction and etc.
Crafting or gathering is a bit boring for me, but I try to rank it up slowly from grinding and local leve.
Overall I still enjoy this games because I'm not lonely in game. If only play solo .. i think i quit long time ago.

I like the way it is .. I don't want to see like FFXI .. mages AOE farming; or other ppl grinding and keeping all the mobs for himself.

I have the same problem >.< i have static PT tonight but always fail in version check.

The earthquake/tsunami maybe disturbed our connection to Japan.

If you really wanna play, you can use vpn and route your connection like I did using bolehvpn. But have to pay RM30 for 30days or RM50 for 60days. This is local co. and can pay using master/visa, maybank2u or bank-in.

I can connect too, but its so easy to get DC, so i will use bolehroute until the direct connection more stable.

To pass item is a bit tricky. But easier to pass money. The other character/alternate that need the money will make a retainer and sell a cheap or useless item at expensive price. Then you log to you main and buy that item from your alternate's retainer.

I use dynamic IP too, but using the safety token you will not get this problem. Even If I use proxy to other country.

I got myself Dodore Wing .. now who can craft it....
