Any car is better than proton. First maybe is very worth it, nice. after one year, you will realize how bad it is.

I see so many Korean Warrior, die die protect Forte,  here until I tempted to test drive Forte again to day...

I feel the same conclusion: I DIDN'T choose Forte is good option!

1. As Jalan54 say, it is not CVT. Gear and engine is the most frequent item used for driving a car. So, it is very important, not all those gadgets
2. It is too much of gadgets, it can be useful rarely use, but it will contribute to pain when maintain it. Especially, korean electronic item that have not lasting. I wonder how much need to spend to replace it few years down the road.
3. Non of the SA can convince me on the resale value. Only say "You see so many Forte on the road, so resale value will higher". But, I answer "once upon a time ago, I see a lot of Sonata on the road too, but the resale value like hell", then they just smile and keep quiet. Some say second hand value not important, but this will contribute how much you can pay for next car. I don't want next few years when selling the car, I still need to fork out pocket money to pay to bank to clear the loan.
4. PPl always comment Plastic interior, what wrong with the plastic? It is just kind of interior design that you like or don't like it.

When Inspira launch, i decided to buy then go to internet do some research about it. Then found out a car named Forte. I asked myself, why people wan to compare it with Inspira? 30K cheaper lancer sure is WORTH it. Then i do some research on Forte. Conclusion on my search is Forte have better spec than Inspira and Inspira handling is better than Forte. So i change my heart to give korean car a try. One of the reason i bought it because the effort the korean people try to improve and not like our Proton, show no such effort and they just easy to satisfy once they think they already make it at the top. if i have 30K extra, i will have no doubt to go for lancer instead of Forte. For a price 80K++, Forte is my choice ahead of others. If really wan Inspira, i will go for Lancer instead of Inspira.

Nice ride u bought, but for me buying car is no try2 thing..look at those who try to buy spectra, elantra, at that time both cars are better specs than waja..but a lot regret later

If base on past experience, i wont even consider Inspira cause PROTON let me REGRET like the Perdana... But i still open my mind thinking inspira will be different.. but.... PROTON is PROTON. for reseller value, i just don't care because instead of worry about how much your car worth when u sell it, why not focus on earn more money??

resale value is important when it is time to get another car..ask past hyundai and kia owners. smile.gif

my point is no matter how high/low resale value is, at the end of the day depend on ur bank account whether you can afford to buy another car. T/H/N car maybe have good resale value and may give you extra money like 20K maybe, but if i dont like the T/H/N driving experience, extra money for after 3-5 years sell it just won't enough compensate my mentally tortured by T/H/N car IF i don't like. Buying a car is not investment anyway.

the resale value isnt cash? u gotta be kidding me. if the resale value is crap, dont u need to top up from the bank account? and if the resale is good, the amount of cash to top up would be less.

buying car is not an investment, but dont forget that over time, u have to change that car as well and that is where resale value comes into play, especially the sky high price of cars in malaysia

yea, resale value is cash. but buying a car for me important is u must like it. If u buy a particular car u dont like but only because of resale value high, then what's the purpose of enjoying life?? only become money servant only.
