when i bought my TV, i insisted that it must be a brand new unopened set, and i would self collect at the store. as it was only 40", i didn't really need the transport, neither would i want to wait for the delivery guy.

as promised, the unit was completely sealed and opened in front of me, before i acknowledged and took it home. just have to learn from experience i guess, it's not gonna be the last time ur gonna buy a TV or any other item right?

there are some people who don't mind display/demo units - assuming they are priced as such as well.

As usual, as a buyer, you really need to do your homework to protect yourself. Ask all the relevant questions before committing to the purchase and only accept if the seller is willing to comply. If not, then no deal, walk away and find another seller.
