I go outing with friends alot so sometimes they ask u lets meet at this new place name Ah lian kopitiam at this this place i never go before. You type in ovi u wont get any result. Then you ask your friend any name of places nearby your friend guess guess also.

if u use garmin high possibility u will get a result of the ah lian kopitiam due to the mappers are locally and update very frequent.

So for me i choose which software with the most up todate maps not how good the software is
*
It's very obvious Garmin win in terms of updates. OVI Maps map data are sooo out-dated.
Ish, why cannot change the map to Malsing Map or something? laugh.gif

Well, I don't want to bring religious topic here. Seems people don't understand our upacara.

Simple like this, if you pity the cow, don't eat it.

Even so, u still eat the cow's meat at home. lol

The 24bits cokour displaying is not the bits of the panel.. Usual direct calculation u need to x3 of the bit of the panel. Say 6bits panel, x3 mean it capable of 18bits colour theoritically..

Added on November 18, 2010, 8:32 amfrom what I see all those problem is limitation of AMOLED...  since it doesn't use back light..

although it is capable to display million of colours, but becoz the "brightness" of the display are still control by the panel itself..  meaning when the u having a blue in normal brightness, it have to go to become a lighter blue in a bit brighter setting..
*
But I thought AMOLED is suppose to be an improvement over TFT LCD? ohmy.gif

What do you guys mean the phone dead?
It suddenly turns off?
Nokia won't repair the problem?
Cannot exchange with a new phone?
*
Nokia will definitely repair. Nokia probably offers the best after sales service. smile.gif
It's just that the workmanship of NCC is not so good. Cause some scratches on someone's phone and it's not fitted properly and stuff like this.
I experience it as well. My X6 is not fitted perfectly. The board is not fitted properly hence got minor spacing between the housing and the Component.

Wah, so first badge got few issues right?
Then when will be the second badge come out?
*
We do not know when will second batch be out. Just wait. Anyway, waiting for the software update is a wiser choice if you're not in a rush to purchase this phone. New software update should be releasing January next year. smile.gif

No need to compare to Super AMOLED, the problem I stated is worst than those old Nokia phones, sincerely, this is too obvious and it's the first time I encounter such problem. If it's a problem, then it's a problem, and we should find solution for it, not pretend it's not there.
If it's a limitation of the technology/display type, then nothing much we can do except perhaps Nokia should stay away from this type of display, BUT THEN, does other AMOLED screen have this issue?

What IF it's software problem? It could be fixed, but if we pretend it's not there, nobody notice it, the problem will not be resolved.

What IF only this display use by N8 having this problem why others don't? Should we still pretend it's not there? Even if it can't be replace, I wouldn't pretend nothing is wrong. It's still usable but it's just another issue/weakness (just like the speaker placement, mono speaker, etc) that we have to live with (unless something can be done).

because this cases are not original cases but created by some 3rd party imitation and put the capdase brand. This casing is not available in capdase website so the flaw is due to imitation
