to get the actual defect on these so call color banding screen u will need long exposure in a totally dark room and a steady tripod... aim and focus on the n8 screen exposure for 3~5 secs sure got a sharp screen... hmm.gif

Need put tripod to take deflect geng notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif


So cham why not u go take 2 bricks.

Put your nokia N8 in between then the camera on top of the brick then set timer auto take settle

my clock oso got a bit of purple effect....not totally half but jz slightly top part of the clock.

i thought its the theme effect?

Hey guys, I was playing with the N8 just now. Is it possible to disable the vibration/feedback on some screens? I couldn't find the setting to disable it.

I have that problem I think. Half of the clock (upper half) looks a bit purple, whils the other half are black.

AMOLED not suppose to have this problem.... coz it doens't have back light...

if it happen.. should be some sort of defect...
