retina is Steve God rename it...retina represent high resolution(960x640) only..IPS screen basically is upgraded version of TFT...in terms of colour,contrast,brightness,IPS screen is nothing to compare with AMOLED series.

i compare AMOLED(Omnia HD) with IPS(i4) colour accuracy i would say AMOLED lose,contrast and brightness AMOLED win 9 roads...IPS is just too dark...

Added on November 20, 2010, 12:09 amforget to mention another advantage of amoled and its 1 of the reason i prefer amoled...save 30% battery compare to TFT(IPS too).
