Meh, Impulse isnt bad really, it's pretty unobtrusive and works pretty well.

Just that they do not have promotion I like very often so I own only few stuff in there (Sins, GalCiv2 and Sword of the Stars collections mainly)

That Blood Bowl deal is interesting though, the game dropped in price pretty quickly O_o

PS. My impression of Stardock actually dropped within minutes of running Impulse as I suddenly had some random popup from the taskbar for some deer hunter game promotion... Tried looking in the options to disable such crap and there was none...

Too bad Impulse, you could've been a permanent addition to my system tray, but now you're just a glorified downloader app... All because you tried to hawk some redneck game to me.

You can disable ImpulseNow from launching at start really, it will stop popups smile.gif
The tool does not really provide any benefit except from these popups anyway, I also use it only as a downloader app

Bought the Saxons pack, I already had the original game and it's dirt cheap.
Seems it adds another campaign, will try it out smile.gif

The original game had some flaws but it was alright even though super hard

There is also the complete Square Enix Pack at 75usd on Steam which is actually quite tempting, lots of games inside so quite worth the money

For anyone interested in a deep strategy game, I HIGHLY recommend AI War bundle, with all the DLCs (which are all awesome) it's one of the bestest strategy game out there.

And in addition the AI is the very best I have ever seen and will kick your ass in a few minutes if you dare to piss it off early.

Single player is highly replayable due to the procedurally generated galaxy and the MP is coop only against the AI (which make senses in the lore of the game).
