*
Nice bro thumbup.gif
Nahh, I'm not a video editor...I'm a photographer though... but keen to learn videography + video editing in near future.
Just wandering what kind of system video editor used for work. Do, share ur desktop hardware here smile.gif
I'm currently building my new rig (the old one are not able to do video editing laugh.gif)
Atm, I'm still missing my GPU... probably earlier next year will get either a GTX970 or GTX980
Let see how the currency and market price goes... smile.gif

It's look like a NZXT Phantom series, a mid-tower chasis... more like Phantom 410... but the side panel window is bit different... maybe he mod the side panel to look like that...

Thanks... yea it is more to personal preference. I prefer 23", but wallet will be bleeding...
*
if u're into gaming, any 1080p monitor "atleast should be okay or decent" as a minimal requirement for multi-display monitor setup... save cash compare to buy a "real" gaming monitor which for sure gonna bleed your pcoket money... wink.gif Also, a same model of monitor can be a good option to do the setup... unless u're not really concerned with the different on their design or color (aesthetic wise) laugh.gif

Updated my speaker set from VS2521 to VS4621.

missed using altec lansing speaker... mine previously was the Edifier R501...
an old model actually... a 7.1 speaker... bought during pc fair back in 2002...
Was using it until last year before my house roof leaking an the speaker was damage by the rain...
Now using cheapo speaker as subsitute... Might as well buying another AL speaker...
Or maybe go old skool with Creative speaker... laugh.gif

Yes... i missed seeing Altec Lansing in the market, i mean in physical shop, various model, have display unit for us to test.

but now, is logitech, edifier, and other brands .

however, i still think they are great now, just it's becoming rarer and rarer.
*
didnt know logitech now making speaker of their own... laugh.gif
back in my day, they were only famous for peripheral -- mice & keyboard
especially when the new infrared peripheral was first introduced way back in 99-2001..
same as altec lansing... it was new back then... I was frequent user of Creative sound system...
but, eventually swap to Altec Lansing surround speaker for it ATP5 & ATP7 model...
before swapping to Edifier... now day I'm using Edifier... but the crappier 2.1 model... laugh.gif

Sorry, just wanna share my rig...
Using cheapo rig & accessories thought...
Althought the mobo & GPU are gaming-line, but I'm not doing gaming sweat.gif
Strictly for work only... WS mobo & Quadro are out of my budget at the time of purchased

i7 4790K | MSI Z97 Gaming 5 | CM Nepton 240M | MSI GTX960 TF Gaming 4GD5 | 4x8GB HyperX Fury 1866Mhz | 2x256GB SSD | 1x 3TB WD Black | Seasonic M12II Evo 620W

Note:
• Taken out 2x8GB ram module since my mob has faulty slots #3+4... so, atm running in single-channel mode...
• 2x SSD are in Raid0
• Also running 4GB RAMdisk for scratch disk

Nahh, i wouldn't rearrange it... laugh.gif
my mobo ram slot 3 & 4 have a faulty issue...
so, unable to use dual-channel...
I got another 16GB ram in my desk drawer...
Atm, using 16GB ram on single channel...
once mobo RMA'ed... will occupy all 32GB

Isn't it better to run your SSD at Raid 1, at least if 1 fails you still have a backup of it. If Raid 0, one die and all will be gone
*
Opps,sorry... i think i missed another 480GB SSD as my OS... my bad sweat.gif
the raid0 i'm using are for other purposed of my work needs...
for my work priority, raid1 is not needed... smile.gif

And you have to take off drives case for long graphics card
*
One more dude... u "take off the drive cage for long gpu"? did u mean the old case? or ur razer s340?
Didn't the inner design of the razer version is the same with previous standard s340?
the 2+1 hdd cage still at the bottom-back panel right?

If u have 2 SSDs, prefer setup RAID 1 is much more safer in case anything happen on yr SSD gonna die cause your valuable data lost....... sweat.gif
*
yet again, for my working "needs"...i don't need the reliability of Raid1 sweat.gif
All I want is the double "performance" of the ssd(s) of the Raid0... cool2.gif
not putting any files in it though...
I already had 240GB SSD for my OS... and few large capacity HHD for storage icon_rolleyes.gif

planning to build 2 more rig this year...
A X99 is a "confirmed" new rig and probably a Skylake-base rig with mobo has raid-config support for M.2
wanna reduce the sata cable clutter for cleaner look and aesthetic smile.gif

Thanks for the advice though thumbup.gif
