QUOTE(dma0991 @ Dec 12 2010, 09:44 PM) Nice glass table but I wonder why the table leg must be like that..not the usual straight type..maybe increased balance but kinda disturbing if move leg a lot Glass table from IKEA,Tempered frosted glass Rm299 each pieces. The legs are Rm45 each. The leg isn't movable cause of the 32kg weight of the glass, and there is sticky plastic something kind of dots , each of the side has 1, to prevent the glass from moving. It's solid. Inspired by Danny Choo =D *Image copyright Danny Choo* ![]() |

QUOTE(dma0991 @ Dec 12 2010, 10:22 PM) LOL..not danny choo again..he got very sporting wife to allow him to have this kind of hobby even though married already I bought the exact same thing,No doubt that table is sturdy as a rock..that table leg is very stable compared to normal table leg I also got idea of having a glass table but I'd custom made a bracket that I can drill to the wall and mount the glass to it.. And the bracket I also can make..very simple only..so I get a floating glass kind of effect..the only problem is I don't have a place of my own to do that But I still like the frosted glass that you use..much better than the clear glass that you can get from normal shops Is the glass mounted to the leg frame by screws..as in there is a hole in the glass to slot in or is it just a suction kind of thing? here's where I get the name of Danny's table and such » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « There is no hole on the glass, its suction kind of thing to prevent it from moving, but even without those suction thing, the glass won't be moving around due to it's weight, the suction is there for more security. You can find it in IKEA, it's under the VIKA series. These glasses are tempered glass, x8 more solid than normal glasses out there. Decorating 2 lights underneath it's rlly beautiful, frosted glass prevent it from hurting eye too. |
