Best resizing is by photoshop but most likely you don't have or don't know how to use..so pic resize
Better still just upload large picture for full glory and spoiler it.. icon_idea.gif

haven't got time to really try out the whole thing. Assembled it completely last week, all up and running until one of my friend's dog came around and pee-ed into the wire mesh at the side panel doh.gif
managed to dissect everything and "wash" the PSU and GPU. But lazy to re-install everything, busy nowadays.

nahh, WC way too expensive.

You must be a student bro. And looking at your pics, I don't know whether you'll have enough space for dual monitor due to space limitation bro.

Obviously it is possible to get a higher spec rig for the same price you pay for that Alienware..
IMHO Alienware a lot of eye candy only..like that casing top there can close and open when temperature is hot
Maybe you can keep the casing and gut out all the parts and replace it with off the shelf parts when you feel that your Alienware is lousy already.. brows.gif

I love it because it is clean, tidy and simple. But don't you think it would be better if you move your mouse pad towards the left side as there's not much room left for the pad.

Thanks, as for the keyboard, the buttons feel abit lacking in terms of typing and pressing. Also the lights are quite dim, can barely see them unless you turn off all the lights. Might get the G510 (w/ LCD) instead.

Thanks. You should see mess hidden under the table sweat.gif - Thankfully this table has excellent cable management features thumbup.gif

Thanks. Yep, the table n chair are from Ikea.

Table is MICKE w/GRUNDTAL- for holding headphones - Guess whats it originally for... hehe.. (copied this idea another forummer here). I wish I could get a bigger table but space constraints for my room shakehead.gif

Chair is KARSTEN with NOMINELL Armrests. I think a couple of other forummers are using this combo for the chair as well. Very comfy for me. thumbup.gif

Honestly, I would suggest you look at FREDRIK as well. The width is larger though the length is shorter. It's the same table as zhafri_abdullah's table above, but you can opt without the overhead shelf. I had to go with MICKE coz my room's width isn't very accommodating. sweat.gif

Oh laugh.gif. You're in the U.S. Plenty of computer casings option there huh brows.gif.

Anyway, not sure about a 47" LED TV's price here, but I'd say that it'll cost way over RM5000.

Depend on how big is your table.
But normally we put the subwoofer on the floor.
Post your workstation picture so we can guide you.

The table I get from Delta Office supplies, RM158.

The table also doubles as writing desk so I want to put monitor one side and leave the space.

Yup I type like that. It's more comfortable to use than a straight keyboard because your wrists don't bend.

Glass table from IKEA,
Tempered frosted glass Rm299 each pieces.
The legs are Rm45 each.

The leg isn't movable cause of the 32kg weight of the glass, and there is sticky plastic something kind of dots , each of the side has 1, to prevent the glass from moving.
It's solid.

LOL..not danny choo again..he got very sporting wife to allow him to have this kind of hobby even though married already laugh.gif
No doubt that table is sturdy as a rock..that table leg is very stable compared to normal table leg
I also got idea of having a glass table but I'd custom made a bracket that I can drill to the wall and mount the glass to it..
And the bracket I also can make..very simple only..so I get a floating glass kind of effect..the only problem is I don't have a place of my own to do that sweat.gif
But I still like the frosted glass that you use..much better than the clear glass that you can get from normal shops
Is the glass mounted to the leg frame by screws..as in there is a hole in the glass to slot in or is it just a suction kind of thing?

I bought the exact same thing,
here's where I get the name of Danny's table and such
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

There is no hole on the glass, its suction kind of thing to prevent it from moving, but even without those suction thing, the glass won't be moving around due to it's weight, the suction is there for more security.

You can find it in IKEA, it's under the VIKA series.
These glasses are tempered glass, x8 more solid than normal glasses out there.

Decorating 2 lights underneath it's rlly beautiful, frosted glass prevent it from hurting eye too.

I will wait until I have finally placed an order for a new Dell U2311H. Then after some cleaning up in my computer room, I'll share.

It would be shameful to be posting a picture now with the current monitor hmm.gif.

Oh, it comes together with Logitech Internet Pro Desktop Combo.
I find it very comfortable for typing or doing MS words.
Going for new Keyboard also must include this wrist rest, used to it. biggrin.gif

But normally people would put Full Tower Case on the floor since it's pretty freaking heavy load on the tables...
And nice wallpaper (Borderlands rite?)

Haha yes it was a concern.. But i found out that the table can take quite a load, and i added an extra leg underneath.. So it has 5 instead of the usual 4..
I'd say the HAF weights in about 50 kilos.. Oh there's enough room to move the mouse around even with the pad in 'potrait' position hehe.. Anyway.. Yeah its from Borderlands..!! Excellent game..

Then you use the same monitor for the torrent rig?..I suppose there is no KVM switch there and KVM switch is expensive and outdated
Why don't just do a remote connection to your torrent rig from your desktop on the desk?

there no KVM switches involved here. wink.gif

I plug my monitor DVI to my rig and VGA to my torrent rig. So I just let the torrent one download whatsoever stuff and main screen is on my main rig. I switch it using the monitors Analog and Digital Input function. wave.gif

Interesting..that means that you can still access the torrent rig even though the main rig is off
I always wanted to do this kind of setup because I don't like to switch on a powerful gaming rig 24/7..
The problem with the remote connection method is that if the main rig is off I cannot see it on the monitor..
Interesting setup..will give it a try hmm.gif

mmhmm. Either rig is off or on, I can still access to the one that is still turned on.
3 Functions, 1.Auto-Detect 2.Analog Input(VGA) 3.Digital Input(DVI)

anyway, if you're interested in my Dell monitor, it's Dell E207WFP. Some 2 year old crap already, good viewing angle but reso sucks big time.

I'm guessing that you get very low temperature reading off your casing as well as your processor with that kind of heatsink..

Excellent game..

so dust management on HAF-X, how'd you clean it? im having a HAF-X myself, kinda dusty already

My L-2000 refresh for 2011 opening

Specs as my signature:

Latest L-2000 rig - Click here for photos - Intel Kentsfield Q6600 G0 @ 3.3GHz | MSI P43-C51 Bios 5.3 | KVR1333N9D3 4096MB 7-7-7-20 | ~5 TB HDD | NVIDIA GTX285 with Gelid Icy Vision GPU cooler | Samsung B2430H LCD | AverTV Super007 | TEAC DVD+RW | Klipsch GMX A2.1 | MS Wireless Desktop 3000 | Wifi+Bluetooth built-in | OdinGT 800W | TreeTop L-2000 chassis | Win7 x64 Ultimate, Snow Leopard 10.6.5 x64 (dual-boot)

I just made a little mod to fit my unused Coolermaster Musketeer to fit into the compact L-2000 chassis and at the same time re-routed the monitor's power and HDMI cable into the casing to make it more clean.

I did it only with electric drill, sandpaper to smooth sharp edges, soldering iron, glue gun and iron saw.

The more photos, the merrier ...

FOr some reasons, USB port easily get damaged after plugging and unplugging devices. Use USB extender to solve the problem.

5 buttons but u look at the gray dots there, there's 7 gray dots there. for 7 fans.

and yes..he stole the limelight....and my saliva  drool.gif  drool.gif
*
Yes, it's 7 fans.

1 at the bottom front, below the DVD slot.
2 at the right side, cooling down the HDD.
1 is slightly higher than the HDD one. Cool down the whole system.
1 at the back, usual standard place.
2 at the top. Large 0.42A fans tongue.gif
= 7 fans. But due to the difficulties in sourcing NZXT fans in MY, I have to settle for 4 fans instead.

actually NZXT Phantom is a very interesting casing. 5 fans takes up to 20W as stated at the manual, it's water-cool ready and can support up to 2 radiators, good cable management and everything is practically screwless. It's slightly larger than HAF-X and better cooling & cable management. And it's lighter too wink.gif

Yep.
not quite sure about the NZXT fans. I missed the NZXT PSU too sad.gif

there is a mini NZXT community in Asia, and I got a friend that bought almost every single NZXT product/
managed to get NZXT fans, PSU and cables by importing them in from US. Don't know how much it cost tho..

Mouse pad from online, they don't have stock anymore @ where I bought it.

import from Taiwan? I thought only US have it hmm.gif
apparently the distro is not interested to bring it in due to the extremely high price when it reaches the consumer.

I don't have LGA1366 MOBO. T.T
How?

Scythe Ninja 3 is too big actually, it's not recommend to those who have "fancy ram heatsink".
Also, I already screw out 1 of my MOBO heatsink screw at the back of the MOBO to fit it's backplate.

Yea, the RAM almost hit the Fan. doh.gif
But, there's still like 2cm+- before it hits, so, it's OK. thumbup.gif

Those with "fancy ram heatsink" sure can't install this this way.
Maybe locate the fan on different position.
Also, if you have big-ass MOBO HSF like EVGA Classified MOBO did, you're gonna have troubles installing it also.

Back-plate is a plate placed on the back of a MOBO to support the HSF.
Most RM 100 or above 3rd Party HSFs have it. The size and look of the Back-plate is depending on the product itself.

Yes, if you throw this thing on someone's head.
High possible, he'll be sent to heaven/hell.

irienaoki,
Why? You want come to my place?

You're using Corsair Dominator? It should be tall, right?
Also, what MOBO you're using? If the DIMM Slots are too near to the CPU Socket of your MOBO, then, probably, you might have problem installing it also.
Mind post your rig? I would like to see if it can fit.

just an illusion, I am only using one keyboard haha.. That was when I trying to setup my keyboard and try to detect what's going wrong.
I only use the top left one.

The dell one is the least nice to use among the keybaords but do come with a card reader but without software to support it

IIANM, it is clamp on the table.
It doesn't need any screw.
But still look better compared with those wire naked around here and there.

1) Modular Power Supply thumbup.gif
You can use any cables to your hardware needs
and no extra danggling cables
2) Chasis with good cable management holes or something

Like NXZT Phantom and Cooler Master HAF X

The external cable is worse, at least inside ur casing it become less obtrusive. I spend like half to a whole day to reorganise my cable after a simple hardware change - -"

+1.

it's like a hook on Phantom, they provide "metal wire" for you to tie the wire to the casing.

Those who have their casing on at all times, do you still open it to dust from time to time? Got an old open-air machine and the dust collected is ...well, you know - terrifying. Wondering if I should clean it up and get a new cheapo casing to cover it up.

Did you realise newer laptop charger adapter comes with a type of Velcro straps with is not like the conventional one?

The hook is extra fine and it's able to stick very well together, the other loop surface will be very smooth instead.

I am not sure how to describe it, will snap a picture when I found one. Wanna get this to replace cable tie as it's very troublesome cut and replace for hardware change

Yeah, I saw VIka series is quite popular these days. But i dont know whether it can fit enough for all pc components. Actually, currently I'm using two long ( very long ) table combine together. With 2 LCD, 1 laptop, 1 subwoofer and 1 Full tower casing on Top. But then I feel that the full tower casing doesn't looks good on top. And I plan to place it on the floor. But those 2 tables have already occupied the entire space, and The full tower casing does not fit underneath the table. And if I just use one table, then i can only fit 2 LCD only. T__T That's what i have faced right now ><

How long is you rcurrent 2 tables when they put together?
I guess Vika tempered glass table is enough for you if you put 2 monitors and laptop on the table while you put your casing at the floor.

Yes, It can be able to put as much as 2 23" LCD and spaces for a laptop

but casing must be on floor, the glass cannot handle much of that weight

Does it still have any space for me to put some model on top on the table after placing 2 lcd and laptop? i still got my speaker but luckily is 2.1 speaker. ( fed up with 5.1 speaker last time due to cable management >.< )

Sure, 2 speakers is small.
I guess your subwoofer will put on the floor for better sound effect right?
BTW that tempered glass is 32kg. Quite heavy hmm.gif

The dimension of the table is 150cm x 80cm (if still the same) quite big biggrin.gif but cannot handle too much weight

Regarding the speaker I suggest the sub can be place on floor biggrin.gif

ima using it now with a 22" lcd and a 17" lcd for netbook

2 LCD? 30" ? 1 Laptop? Macbook pro 17?

lol.

I am running 2 LCD (22' + 19') + subwoofer on top of the table. I use a lower range ikea table which is 6 feet / 1.8m. still pretty much of space available there. No problem to add another laptop too

Nice setup you have there... By the way does your casing have fan facing on top? Will those action figures block the airflow? Actually I'm thinking placing on top of my casing... But 3 fans on top... seems impossible for me to place it. XD

Yesterday I just finished cleaning up my room. With subwoofer place on floor rather than table. So i can place my gundam model and my tripod, dslr so forth. Hope i can take the photo latest by tonight and let u guys see. smile.gif

Thanks. That is the old setup, where the casing doesn't have fan on top, the new casing does, that's why I don't put anything on top of it. The pics after the first one is the new setup. If your casing have fan on top better not, it'll block the airflow.

Nice casing bro..but definitely can do a lot better with those cable management holes
I did a rig for my friend and most of the extra wires I just cram it behind the casing.. icon_idea.gif

That black 600T is not mine..it is my friend's rig that I help assemble sweat.gif
I only got lousy Acer.. sad.gif
But well worth the money really for the 600T especially the white ones..got clear side panel or mesh side with extra holes for fan
The white 600T really looks a lot better than the 650D..
