try this, F8, SS 1/250ish.. iso 100 this my setting when i shoot moon not so long ago.. biggrin.gif

for the seaside pic, wat time u take the pic? day or night? if nite, try slow shutter but need super steady hand or tripod wit high acceptable iso maybe ISO400..

A850 & SAL2470Z. 1/320s, F6.3, ISO200. 1 HVL-F58AM with DIY snoot aimed almost directly on top of the mask. Flash triggered wirelessly via the HVL-F20AM mounted on my camera. Shot in cRAW and processed in Capture One + CS4.

p/s: When using a snoot on your flash, becareful with firing too many shots at one time. The flash will overheat....
