 Snap models and win cash at KLIMS QUOTE KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow (KLIMS) from Dec 3 to 12 is a great opportunity to test your photo-taking skills with cash prizes of up to RM5,000. All you have to do is be there and snap a picture with the Star Motoring, Daily Chilli or RedFM girls. They can be spotted walking around the venue with a sash. Contestants need to go up to them, give their details and snap a picture with them to be eligible for the contest. You can take photos with other KLIMS models but you have to submit your registration either to the Star Motoring/Daily Chilli/RedFM girls or in boxes provided at various points at the venue, including the exit. You can use any digital camera, even the one in your PDA or handphone. Then, get as many of your friends as you can to vote for your picture at star-motoring.com between Dec 3 and 26. Winners of the “Snap For Cash” contest will be decided by popular vote, and the names of the winners will be published and announced on radio on Dec 29. Prizes are RM5,000 for first place, RM3,000 for second and RM2,000 for third. There are 10 consolation prizes of RM200 each. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age. Individuals are allowed to submit one picture entry only and it must be accompanied by full name, identity card number, handphone number and e-mail address. The Star reserves the right to reject entries that do not comply with the rules. Flyers, which include the contest registration form, will be distributed at the ticketing counter. For storytelling purposes if #7 could have some real apples as bokeh it would be better. ProX: You cropped them funny at the bottom. busyman: The A100/A200/A300/A350/NEX-3 do not have an IR receiver port. However you can plug the cable shutter release on the side (except the NEX-3). Mr.Wang: Nice! Would be better with a bit more space so you see its curve. shukrie: Nice #3! Though even if you crop the bottom half it looks good also. laszlo: LOL nice 'extraction'.  You could straighten the line on top since you're modifying it like that. evilhomura89: Nice catch on #1! You could take another from directly above so you see the leaf, the worm and the red rocks. cjlai: Wow Christmas deals! takumicross: The Sony 35mm F1.8 DT SAM is already on sale at Sony Style for RM899 retail price.  shukrie : nice . as if like yuna in final fantasy i have 1 question, let say the SAM 85mm f2.8 come out and the price is near to the Tamron SP90 . im assuming its better to get the SP90 as it could pair up for macro and should be pretty good in potraiture too rite?? what say u?? |
