8tvt: well, wide open usually use for low light. on apsc, 24mm is almost human eye's range, so oso can b half or full body portrait lens ad. but beware of distortions at the corners, it may ruin ur portrait haha... using for portrait u wan bokeh then can use bigger aperture. it's very flexible actually, tat's y i use it more than my kit lens n i even sold of my kit lens. XP

now thinking to stay apsc or FF. haha.... with my tammy, i think apsc shud b wide enuf. XP

don get wat u mean here. XP in weddings, better u bring wide lens lo, coz crowded and limited space ma.
