8tvt: well, wide open usually use for low light. on apsc, 24mm is almost human eye's range, so oso can b half or full body portrait lens ad. but beware of distortions at the corners, it may ruin ur portrait haha... using for portrait u wan bokeh then can use bigger aperture. it's very flexible actually, tat's y i use it more than my kit lens n i even sold of my kit lens. XP

oh 18mm still not enough eh?
not often go to big² wedding place.. so not thinking to go wider than that..  blush.gif

but still can use >F4 right? still need smaller aperture for a group pic..
i won't see the softness on largest aperture to be an issue..

if need bokeh, i rather use prime..
*
18mm might b quite limited if the wedding is done in hotels or condos..
ya can use >f4.

gjtan: yes, u shud try on ur gundams.
8tvt: flash from bottom for gundam? i agree with albnok, shud increase DoF.
cjlai: i would prefer a to zoom to the head of the eagle if i wanna show that it's aiming on something.
evilhomura89: i like #7 better coz the flash isn't that harsh, #8 looks a little harsh to me.
