Get a saucer from McD and calibrate your white balance using it. Someone taught me that before. Cheap, but effective.

get a (clean) top cover for the soft drinks paper cup form McD or KFC. make sure it is the semi translucent type and not solid white or black color type. put that cover over your lens, aim at the light source and customize your white balance. put your lens into manual focus mode to make sure the lens don't focus forever (it will never be able to catch focus anyway ). after getting the custom wb reading, make sure you switch your lens back to AF! 

Never mind lar... slow, slow save money. I accompany you lor... I also slow, slow safe money! 

hopefully next year there will be a a55 upgrade next year with battery grip..an a56 or something..even if a77 comes out..i dun think i can afford la  ..if not i might just live with a55 punya tiny grip and then use a300 as back up.

now a55 body alone rm21xx..hopefully it will become like my dinosaur..5 months later drop rm500..so become 16xx...
