Was looking at some hard to get (or very good deal) frame and case in the internet...wanna order but shipment is a killer..

Shipment is soo exxpensive

After cracking 2 clear hard cases (thin type)...i rather get myself a thicker or silicon (or hybrid) type of case...

I find myself dropping things easily... so far twice I dropped my Iphone..all OK except cracked plastic case...

If you want a hard plastic case that dun scratch easily, get the Power Support Air Jackets.

Thats why you need to do lotsa homework before getting a yummy case...got lots out there that have design, material, dimension problem.
Some of those selling here in Malaysia are also old stock. Getting a case from the manufacturer also cost a bundle for the shipment.
I like to go to youtube to check out case reviews. The comment in there are sometimes nasty, but most of the time useful to decide on what to get.

SGP Hybrid EX is nice, but the bottom part (charger/sync connector area) is fragile..so need a bit of caring.

Just ordered a SGP iPhone 4 Case Linear Crystal Series (Satin Silver) from the SGP website...hope the clear back case is as good as Power Supports scratch resistance and also hope it doesn't destroys the SP.

One good thing abt SGP is they have send to Malaysia option and the postage price is reasonable.

Actually, this is very subjective issue...you can go for week browsing for a case and end of the day...get yourself an original Apple bumper!

If you insist of Switcheasy, actually, the switcheasy Trim is most adequate enough for everyday use..and its available in apple stores at similar price as the Garage sale.
Trouble is getting the right color you want...most ppl will stay away from white because easily dirt and become yellowish

But if you are the outdoor type and want the ultimate protection...get Lifeproof.

Got my SGP Linear case

I must say, I tot it will be coming next week, but my wife open the mail box, and there it was..Super Speed!
I think it was left a few day in the mailbox...

Sucks...everything Ketam also wanna check..lucky then didn't open the case.






Review...

Good:
Price is nice..RM100 plus postage from US, delivery also superb..but you can't track it from the website or USPS.

Packaging and material is up to standard. The crystal back also came with a quality clear layer which I cut out the hole for camera and used it so that the clear back wont scratch.

Comes with Steinheil Ultra Crystal and logo protector.
I didn't use both as I'm using another brand....but good to know this case works with a film protector for the back.

Fitting is tight...no cracking or annoying noises when hold tightly.

Bad:
Hate the SGP flash hood/rings which are flimsy, easy to come out and not easy to put on. No wonder they gave 10 of them.
They should design something like Power Support Air Jacket type.

Also...err...the case is too slippery...handle with care!

Welcome to the club bro...I'm also a new user myself...

Anyway, for SP...try SGP Ultra crystal, Martin Fields and also Power Support...all can be found in the garage sale...and it cost RM50 above.
Popular type is Matt and Clear...beware that some SP are so bad, they will make your Retina display look like many fine dots..

I'm using SGP Ultra Crystal and so far satisfied with it, even though its shiny type...not much of a fingerprint magnet and very less scratch prone...I also have a Power Support Matt and Clear...haven't tried it out.

If you are talking abt 'reasonable' prices....why not get a case which has a SP included...example:

Very soon, when you buy a few cases, you will have a lot of leftover SP

But for the rear I using a cheap Matt type Film.

Yeah...I love leather cases, bought many since my palmpilot days, not all leather stuff are good...some workmanship and materials are really sub-standard....the worst branded leather case I have is from PDair. Really horrible...the leather is actually only micro thin and dimensions not good fitting.......some good stuff I have i from Krusell...but its not fair to compare a USD20 with a USD60 product.

As a general statement...one thing abt leather cases is you get what you paid for since its handmade...materials and craftsmanship cost money...
