Hmm what if he doesn't want to buy a case? Haha. Just assuming.

Well, what vimissu said is right, most of the cases includes a set of screen protector inside.

If you're interested I can sell you mine for a cheap price. Not a fan of clear type SP. Prefer matte ones.

Mine is acceptable la, so far haven't notice anything major. Texts are still quite clear, pictures are superb. Well, maybe mine is of a higher quality ones, not too sure and I'm not sure about the cheap ones. Maybe they do blur a lot for the cheaper ones?

Swiping is whole lot smoother, anti finger prints and anti glare. It all depends on user preference. I find it better user experience overall if using a matte SP.

I have a question, if I change my iPhone 4 back glass to white or metal, will it void the warranty? Thanks in advance
*
It wont woid your warranty if you change back to the original case when you send for warranty. The only thing will void warranty is when u dissemble the main board inside the phone cos there is a small sticker that sticks on a small screw. So if u accidentally scratch/spoil the sticker then u are doom. nod.gif

@bryanyeo: Also there HAS been reports about the replacement back covers that:

a) They do not have the LED flash diffusers that Apple built into the original covers -> pictures with flash is gonna be even crappier.

b) The inner mounting section (the part that takes the bottom screws and holds the replacement covers in place) is made out of cheap plastic that break easily after a knock/fall.

So it's your call. For me I just cover my Aifie-Tan up with a 3M Carbon fibre sticker, stuff it into a battery case that I tape up with layer upon layer of electrical tape for protection.

It looks like an Otterbox Defender case now lol.

Also, if you don't mind the bulk, a few layers of capdase bodifenders (it's like invisible shield for the back only) should work too, plus you can see the condition of the back glass clearly.

If you're paranoid about whether it will scratch your iPhone, then get the full body cover flip cases. Though I had not find any scratches on my iPhone, yet, using the Incipio feather. Just had to isolate it from keys, coins, lighters and sharp metal stuffs.

Thanks. I was thinking off Incipio feather or Cadpase Barely There. Wondering if there is any difference between the two....

Funny tho, the coolest cases for the IP4 are the ones that doesn't protect much at all lol.

If they make a full body slim alum case with internal silicone/neoprene lining with a slim detachable/exchangeable battery pack plus a full passthrough Apple 30-pin dock connector, then I'll be crazy interested.

For now, I drop my phones waaaay too much (and need the battery support) to be able to live with a simple bumper, batshit cool alum or not lol.

Hi bro. It's Case-mate barely there. I do notice some difference. But it's very little difference. The Incipio being just a little bit thinner, so to it doesn't cover the plastic part surrounding the screen just right above the metal part. The Barely There reveals the Apple logo which the Incipio feather doesn't reveal. That's pretty much about it.

Agreed. Shame the iP4 is more or less a crystal wineglass that makes calls and runs apps heh.

Nice to see
Nice to hold
Once broken
Warranty void lol

LOL. Yeah. Nothing but a fragile wineglass. Do not drop your phone! Even if I had the Otterbox defender on, I would still worried about whether the glass panels got shattered inside the case while it dropeed. What a paranoid guy I am. Haha.

Nice to see, nice to hold. Once broken, it really is broken!!

Well, too bad they their so called super glass isn't that super after all.

My best friend once said, those people who own iPhone 4 and without using any case must be orang kaya. Lol. True enough.

Ok back to the topic, I haven't seen a casing that is 100% to my liking, but recently, I saw the Paramore Blaze by More-thing seems promising. It's selling $39.90. I want one! But OEM versions has already flooded the market like nobody's business.

I bought so many cases and protectors

Currently the best ones i used are

SGP hybird neo ex bumper ( very good and better than apple bumper )

SPECK candyshell ( Double protection , soft inside but hard outside )

Speck pixel HD ( Very nice rubber case , good for putting on car or tables )

JAPAN VERSION of powersupport screen protector ( Very glossy but finger print magnet )

SGP Ultra Crystal Matte ( Anti fingerprint but very hard to install , helped by a apple staff )

SGP Olephi ( it really resistant to oil but not immune , dont even think to pour oil on it and expect to wipe it away , it only resist those cosmetic oils not cooking oil )

GELASKINS ( if you like colorful pictures on your phone and act as a screen protector than this is your choice , it protect not only your phone back and front also protect from fingerprints ) MADE BY 3M JAPAN

DISLIKES !!!!!! LOUSY CASES I USED

Mohpie Juice Pack PLus ( Okay the power supply is extremely good but it scratches the side edge of your phone and remove your screen protector )

OTTERBOX DEFENDER ( At first i love the protection it provided but once you used it for weeks , you will see lots of dust sticking around your external case and you need to wipe them every time if not it will stick there )

SGP ULTRA CRYSTAL screen protector ( this is the normal screen protector by SGP , IT really suck badly , you can only use it around a month because its a fingerprint magnet and dust go to the edges very easily without cases )

Apple bumper ( i got this free from Maxis , it feels cheap and loose )

There are more likes and dislikes but i gonna post some in my mind now
