some shop in miri. got 'CAZE' wording at the side, very lame haha

QUOTE(adriankhoo153 @ Apr 12 2011, 03:36 PM)
I prefer bumper + SP = perfect! I wonder if apple bumper easily to break too?
*
apple bumper should be more durable compared to the sgp hybrid since it's a single piece. even ciplak bumper also better. but i still feel sgp hybrid is very nice la...the silicon edges make my iphone feel like the lid of my MBP hehehe. too bad it's too expensive for something i use 2 months only ;p

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Apr 12 2011, 03:52 PM)
but bumper no protect screen ....

inb4 screen iphone 4 won't scratch or crack.
*
i think if an iphone fall down, 90% chance the sides will hit the ground 1st, not the back/screen. back/screen just protect from scratch only, so SP would be enough. that's y i like bumper style, enough protection and also preserve the thinness of the phone.

fall to ground is one way for iphone to die.

another way is, ur iphone in ur pocket and you crash iphone head on to something hard like table.

LOL... there goes ur iphone screen... or the back... both made with glass...
*
mine fall to ground with sgp hybrid twice, everthing ok. the hybrid got a bit scratched though. but yea u have a good point there about bumping against stuff while in a pocket

QUOTE(doomx @ Apr 12 2011, 05:23 PM)
CAZE not bad ah. lol. they got their own website i bought one of their matte casing also.
saw the price, that is original ah bro? cuz the website put there USD22 man. lol
*

hello guyz... gonna get my ip4 soon...wanna protect and keep it as new as possible since day 1.... i'm planning to buy zagg invinsible shield... do i still need any casing for the phone?

or anyone can recommend me a good screen protector  + casing or FULL protection for my ip4 to prevent scratches etc...

P/S: i'm a very rough person...i drop things quite easily..all the things i use never last long =(
*
invisible shield only protects from scratch. doesnt do anything to protect against impact like if u drop ur phone

screen protector, i believe me and a few others are happy with power support. SGP isnt bad too, but generally any brand would do if u want the crystal clear type. antiglare / matte is a bit hard, so ill recommend power support

casing, well thicker is always better. a thick plastic rm15 casing will do a better job compared to a thin plastic rm100 casing, it just may not look as nice.

Using SGP ultra optics now and I think it is one of the best for it's fine balance between anti fingerprint and clarity. It has matte qualities but does not degrade the screen quality much.
*
the optics vs PS antiglare HD, any comments? smile.gif from my reading apparently the rainbow effect is much much less but doesnt resist fingerprints as good. the back film is the same material is it?

i think Mackiddo was referring to the original headphone fitting into the headphone jack of the casing... not the carbon sticker smile.gif

Forking out rm600 for a case? It dosent sounds like a solution to me.
I would rather stay away from vapor sweat.gif
*
LOL. for me, i'd rather not use a case at all and use that rm600 to fix any repairs when i drop my phone tongue.gif

actually, im yet to see a SP like sgp,PS,etc to be actually scratch proof.i doubt so cos ive seen PS scratched.  only those really thick ones like zagg bg and wrapsol are better.but still not scratch proof.better resistance
*
you cant expect a piece of plastic to be scratch proof tongue.gif last time i used cheap SP fo the back, i get a few scratches after 1 month. now using SGP back, until now no scratches

Anybody has a good way to remove a screen protector? I am using power support front and clear sgp back. I tired removing both but is was like glued to the screen. Try peel with sticky tape but failed. Then used my fingernail to peel from the corners and damaged the sp sadly. Now need to get a new one.
*
ur tape glue not strong enough

Bought an Ori SGP Neo Hybrid Ex Case and it's really lousy.
If you notice the case strip at the bottom where we plug-in the cable for charging is actually blocking the plug.
Everytime it makes the charge undetectable....not only that but the rubber tends to loose often.

I just bought this case less than 6 months...
*
the original charger fits well. some 3rd party ones doesnt

well it is made from aluminium after all. iphone 3g had a plastic back specifically because apple found out the 2g's aluminium back doesnt do well with signals

vapor pro has that plastic section so it should be better

as i know it makes your iphone scratchproof. not the film itself.
*
doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif it's a scratchproof film that u stick on ur phone

juz bought my THIRD neo hybrid ex.... but this time is fake one hahah. the packaging is really convincing. but the casing itself can easily tell if not ori.

- the silicone piece looks quite shiny and feels like rubber. easily attracts lint. ori one is feels smooth and doesnt attract lint

- i bought the silver one. if ori, the silver one has a matte surface while the fake one is glossy. also, the "SGP case" wording on the left...the ori one has the same font as "neo hybrid" while the fake one is a different, taller font
