OEM, this term, in terms of iPhone cases is misused badly. I had to voice out because I'm very fed up with those sellers claiming those cases to be OEM while it is indeed a replica/fake/pirated.

So why they call them OEM? To attract customers of course. They are able to imitate 99.99% therefore, they label it as OEM so to attract more customers, customers will think that they are really from the factory that is manufacturing the real thing because of the word OEM.

Check this out:
https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1641809/+188#
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1717649

There, a fellow forumer already kena with the so called OEM but imitation product. So better becareful next time if you see the word OEM and they claim to be original and selling by half of the original price. If you own the real thing before, you will notice instantly that it is indeed an imitation product.

Not happens to all, but I've seen a lot cases already with similiar case. Especially Speck/Incase/Belkin/Moshi brand. These 4 is the most serious ones base on my experience while I was hunting for the perfect case for my iPhone4.
*
it's really un-ethical on the seller part. Most of us don't have problem with other selling fake/replica but he/she must be truthful and not deceived ppl with the OEM term, thinking that the item came from the same manufacturer as the original. We occasionally have some noob posting about having problem with this and that case without even mentioning that they are using a fake/replica case, thus lowering the confidence of those who wanna get the original case.

ok so i didnt screw the screws on my vapor4 really tightly as im worried that i will sumhow damage the phone. my action only resulted in 2 missing screws. one from each side. no idea why it happened so coincidentally. but fortunately, i found them in my jean pocket.

anyone knows whether screwing the screws too tight will result in any damage? and urm, i think i should ask now first just in case: anyone knows where to get the screws? only the screws, just in case i really happen to misplace them in the future. tongue.gif
*
I think you can order replacement screws from element case. I'm sure there are ppl who lost their screw

guys, i wanna ask, any one of you have tried Invisible Shield Maximum Coverage for the iPhone 4? i am interested in getting one, wanna know how it looks like after applying the shield.. quite tired of using casing liao...
*
I'm using the ZAGG InvisibleSHIELD Full Body Easy Install, protect front, back, sides, top & bottom. ZAGG film is just slightly thicker than others but who could doubt them, their film is use to protect helicopter blades. The film also stick to the phone harder than others. You could use it bare but I'm using it together with my Element Case Vapor AR-15V

Guys, can I know which is the best way to get the original cases like Speck, Griffin, SwitchEasy for iPhone 4? Just buy from apple retails like MacStudio and Machines?

Most cases I saw from Garage sales, the cases are like half price of the original, this means they are just replicas?
*
if the price is too good to be true, then it really is. MacStudio and Machines price are a bit steep, even more expensive than order from the website and have it ship via vpost . So to ensure you an original and a reasonable price, order from the product website. rclxms.gif

Just get my eneloop mobile booster frm Garage Sales
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

the whole set
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

nice charger with 5000mAh power (estimate 2 times full charing for iphone4)...
can charge 2 iphone togather too smile.gif
*
excellent choice ! rclxms.gif . I have the Eneloop Mobile Booster KBC-L2B (5000mAh 1mAh output), KBC-L2A (5000mAh 0.5mAh output) & KBC-L3S (2500mAH 0.5mAh output).
Normally I'll just carry the L3S when i'm clubbing since it's 50% smaller and the L2B when I'm having a long meeting and or when i'm carrying my iPad.

I wanna get a battery pack for my iphone 3gs. Any recommendation?

external of slip on ?
external i would highly recommend the Eneloop Mobile Booster and slip on would be the yet-to-release Incipio OffGrid.

How many of u guys here bought battery pack?

And which brand/model u bought?
Which more worthy eg. 1200mah or higher like 2800mah? Higher means can hold more charge/times and faster charging time?

Im thinking to get one, but still undecided which..Also whether between casing based or external pack. (coz i have 1st gen ipod touch can share if external)
*
I'm using the Eneloop mobile booster. I have 3 actually, 2500mAh output 0.5mAh, 5000mAh output 0.5mAh and the latest 5000mAh 1.0mAh. the later one can charge iPad and some latest nokia phone which demands an output of 0.7 to 0.8mAh. For short duration like whole day meeting, I'll carry the 2500mAh but I'll bring the 5000mAh when traveling overseas.
higher mAh needs longer to charge, a typical 5000mAh needs around 8 hours charging time.

Just got my Sanyo Mobile Booster KBC-L2B from mjj2332!

Nice charger with 5000mAh power (Proven 2 times full charing for my DHD and still have battery left, i think can get 2 times plus...)

Fast charging with only 1 USB device plug in, coz it output 1A.

Very mobile device to bring along, light and small. Now you can charge your mobile devices anytime anywhere!

[attachmentid=2073951]
*
actually the speed of charging is the same, either one or two slot being use. the only difference is with only 1 slot being use, the output amp will be 1.0mAh which could charge device like iPad. I had the KBC-L2B for over 4 months now smile.gif

thanks for the reply.. so what you mean it will definally scratch your phone ? pardon my poor english... i trying to understand statement  "when putting it on the sides are somehow being affected, but not scratched," does that mean the aluminum will touch the phone ?

and here is the link

is this a original ?

http://www.lelong.com.my/iphone-4-aluminum...1-03-Sale-P.htm
*
I'm using the original vapor AR15-V. dun worry, it will not scratch your phone although I have my ZAGG invincibleSHIELD on first. forget about those fake case and there's no oem for vapor.

But with vapor pro it will fits any 3rd party charger. And its true no such thing as oem vapor. Its either original or fake. Huhuhu..
*
i always buy usb charger, those without the cable, no problem coz there's actually 'thin head cable' just like the original cable. so fitting in the cable head is no problem.

hello guyz... gonna get my ip4 soon...wanna protect and keep it as new as possible since day 1.... i'm planning to buy zagg invinsible shield... do i still need any casing for the phone?

or anyone can recommend me a good screen protector  + casing or FULL protection for my ip4 to prevent scratches etc...

P/S: i'm a very rough person...i drop things quite easily..all the things i use never last long =(
*
ZAGG is a good choice, it get it's reputation from protecting helicopter blades. I'm using the invincibleSHIELD full protection, including the back and all 4 sides. after that cover it with ar15-v original vapor case smile.gif
